AMS 39-640/35-632 Sensit 1,2 Motor (Used)

AMS 39-640 / 35-632 Sensit 1 & 2 Vend Motor (Used) is a factory-style snap-in vend motor listed for selected AMS snack vending machines. SKU: AMSMOS1.
AMS Vend Motor Overview
The AMS 39-640 / 35-632 Sensit 1 and Sensit 2 vend motor is a used factory-style replacement part for supported AMS snack vending machines. Its snap-in mounting design helps make a like-for-like repair easier when the existing motor matches. Check the machine model, motor shape, plug, and mounting points before ordering.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Compatible Machine Families
The product listing identifies AMS 39-640 and AMS 35-632 machines, along with Sensit 1 and Sensit 2 configurations. These names are a starting point, not a promise that every production revision uses the same motor. Compare your original part before purchase.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Why a Vend Motor Matters
A vend motor moves a selected product coil through its sale cycle. When a motor does not turn as expected, a snack may stay on the shelf. A sound repair starts with checking the full vend path, not replacing parts at random.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Snap-In Mounting
The listed snap-in mounting style is designed for compatible mounting positions. Confirm the retaining points are intact and the motor seats securely. Do not force a part into a bracket that does not match.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Used Part Value
A used replacement motor can be a practical choice when maintaining an established machine. The seller lists this part as used and refurbished. Review the current listing for the exact condition, availability, and sales terms.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Before You Order
Record the full machine model and any identifying marks on the original motor. Take a clear photo of the front, rear, connector, and mounting tabs. Compare each detail with the product images or ask the parts supplier for help.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Common Symptoms
A selection that fails to turn may point to a motor issue, but it may also involve wiring, a jammed coil, a control board, or a connection problem. Diagnose the cause before replacing the motor.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Safe Replacement Planning
Turn off the machine and disconnect it from power before accessing electrical or moving parts. Follow the machine service manual. If you are not trained to service electrical equipment, use a qualified technician.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Inspect the Shelf
Check the spiral, product spacing, shelf alignment, and nearby hardware. A jam can keep a good motor from completing a vend. Remove obstructions safely and make sure products can move freely.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Check the Connector
Compare the connector shape and pin layout with the original motor. Look for bent pins, loose plugs, corrosion, or damaged wire insulation. Never modify wiring to make an unmatched motor fit.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Installation Check
After safe installation and reassembly, use the machine test procedure described in its service manual. Confirm the motor operates normally, the selection turns the intended amount, and the product drops correctly.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Sensit System Notes
Sensit is associated with product-delivery detection on supported AMS machines. A vend failure message does not by itself prove the motor is bad. Check product setup, sensors, and the vend mechanism as appropriate.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Routine Care
Keep the shelf clean and products arranged so they do not bind against dividers. Watch for damaged spirals, loose mounting points, and repeated jams. Routine checks can reduce needless part replacement.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
For Route Operators
Keep a simple service record for each machine. Note the model, failed selection, symptoms, repair date, and replacement part. These notes help when the same issue returns or another technician visits.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.
Buying With Confidence
This listing identifies SKU AMSMOS1 and AMS as the manufacturer. Match the original part and confirm the supplier terms before ordering. Do not assume the listing includes extra hardware, coils, or wiring unless stated.
- Confirm the machine and original part before ordering.
- Inspect the vend path and connections before replacement.
- Follow the machine service manual for safe testing.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
