Large Snack Product Capacity
The Automatic Products 123 is designed to give vending operators plenty of room for different products. It offers 30 to 40 selections and can hold about 300 to 400 items, depending on product size and shelf setup.
Use the machine for chips, crackers, cookies, pastries, candy, and other packaged snacks. The dedicated candy shelf is useful for smaller products. The other shelves can be arranged for larger snack packages.
The dual snack spirals add more flexibility when setting up product selections. Operators can choose products based on the needs of each vending location.
MDB Multi-Price Technology
This machine uses MDB electronics. MDB stands for Multi-Drop Bus. It is widely used in modern vending equipment.
The multi-price setup allows different products to have different prices. This gives vending operators more control over product pricing. You can set prices based on product cost, size, or location needs.
The MDB system also helps make the machine compatible with certain modern payment equipment. The product listing states that this machine is credit card capable. However, a credit card reader is not included with the machine. A compatible reader can be added separately.
Cash Payment Options
The Automatic Products 123 supports traditional cash payments. It includes a 3-tube coin system and a $1 bill acceptor.
Offering cash payment gives customers a simple way to purchase snacks. At the same time, the MDB electronics provide a path for adding compatible cashless payment equipment.
Before adding a card reader, check the reader requirements and installation options for your specific machine setup.
DEX Protocol Support
The machine also includes DEX protocol. DEX is commonly used in vending equipment for electronic data exchange.
For vending operators, DEX can support sales and machine data collection when used with compatible equipment. This can make route management and machine monitoring easier.
One Candy Shelf and Dual Snack Spirals
The product configuration includes one candy shelf and dual snack spirals. This setup provides a useful mix of product types.
The candy shelf can be used for smaller packaged items. Snack spirals can be used for products such as chips, cookies, crackers, and similar packaged snacks.
Product placement can be adjusted based on what sells at your location. Fast-selling items can receive more space. Slower products can be replaced with items that customers request more often.
5-Wide Snack Vending Machine
The Automatic Products 123 is a 5-wide snack machine. This layout gives operators a broad selection area without requiring several separate vending machines.
The glass-front design lets customers see the available products before making a selection. Clear product displays can also make it easier for customers to find their preferred snack.
Refurbished for Vending Use
This Automatic Products 123 is sold as a refurbished vending machine. Refurbished equipment can provide an alternative to purchasing new commercial vending equipment.
Vending World lists this model as a refurbished unit and provides specifications for its size, capacity, payment system, and configuration.
When choosing refurbished vending equipment, always review the machine condition, included components, warranty terms, shipping details, and installation requirements before purchase.
Built for Indoor Snack Vending
The Automatic Products 123 is a full-size commercial snack machine. Its dimensions are approximately 72 inches high, 38 inches wide, and 35 inches deep. The listed machine weight is about 687 pounds.
Because of its size and weight, plan the delivery and installation area before ordering. Make sure the location has enough room for the machine, customer access, loading, and routine service.
Good Product Flexibility
A major benefit of a multi-selection snack machine is product flexibility. You can stock different products in the same machine. This helps you serve customers with different tastes.
For example, one section can hold chips. Another can hold cookies or crackers. The candy shelf can feature smaller treats. You can then adjust the product mix as sales change.
This makes the machine suitable for locations where customers want several snack choices in one convenient place.
Easy-to-Plan Vending Setup
Before placing the machine, consider the products you plan to sell. Measure the available floor space. Confirm that the electrical supply is suitable. Also plan how the machine will be moved into the building.
After installation, organize products so customers can quickly see the available choices. Keep popular products easy to identify. Check inventory regularly and restock products before selections become empty.
Why Choose the Automatic Products 123?
The Automatic Products 123 combines a large product area with flexible vending features. Its six shelves and 30 to 40 selections give operators room for a varied snack menu.
The one candy shelf and dual snack spirals support different product sizes. MDB multi-price electronics allow flexible pricing. DEX support provides compatibility with vending data systems. The machine is also credit card capable, although the card reader itself is not included.
The refurbished design can also be a practical choice for operators looking for commercial vending equipment without purchasing a new machine.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
