Cam Lock Design
The cam lock combines a key-operated cylinder with a rotating cam. This format is used on many types of locking doors and panels. The 1 1/8-inch threaded body is a key part of this listing. The included 1 1/4-inch cam is another important part of the product description.
Keyed-Alike #1452
Keyed alike means locks in the same key group use the same key code. This listing identifies that group as #1452. The code matters because locks with other codes are not automatically part of the same keyed-alike group. This product is described as a seven-pin tumbler lock.
New ABA Lock
This item is listed as a new ABA lock, not a refurbished part. It is sold as a cam-style locking component for suitable doors. The product listing identifies the lock body, cam length, key code, and tumbler format.
Threaded Body
The threaded body is a defining feature of this cam lock. Its listed length is 1 1/8 inches. This dimension describes the lock body rather than the included cam. The two measurements serve different purposes and should not be confused.
Included Cam
The listing states that a 1 1/4-inch cam is included. The cam is the part that turns behind a locking panel. A cam lock works through the relationship between the cylinder and the cam. The listing does not establish fit for every vending machine model.
Vending Machine Door Security
Cam locks are common hardware for access doors and locking panels. This ABA lock is presented for vending machine use. A suitable lock helps keep a panel closed while allowing key-operated access. Actual fit depends on the door, mounting opening, and latch arrangement.
Shared Key Code
The #1452 key code gives this product a clear identity. It is useful when describing a group of locks intended to share one key pattern. Key code #1452 is distinct from the physical length of the lock and the length of the cam.
Seven-Pin Tumbler
The product is described as having a seven-pin tumbler. This identifies the lock cylinder format stated by the seller. It does not by itself establish a security grade, pick resistance rating, or certification.
Replacement Lock Hardware
A replacement cam lock can be a small but important part of a locking door assembly. This listing provides the basic physical details needed to identify the product: threaded design, 1 1/8-inch length, 1 1/4-inch cam, and #1452 keyed-alike format.
Commercial Equipment Applications
The lock is marketed for vending machines and locking doors. The same general cam-lock style appears in other types of commercial equipment. That does not mean this exact part fits every cabinet or panel. Compatibility is determined by the actual hardware arrangement.
Consistent Lock Identification
A clear part identity can reduce confusion between similar-looking locks. The SKU for this item is CLABA118. Its manufacturer is ABA. Its key code is #1452. Its listed lock body length is 1 1/8 inches.
Compact Mechanical Lock
This is a mechanical cam lock rather than an electronic access system. The listing describes a keyed cylinder and cam arrangement. It does not list digital controls, wireless features, or electronic credentials.
Product Dimensions
Two lengths appear in the description. The lock body measures 1 1/8 inches. The included cam measures 1 1/4 inches. These numbers refer to different components. Neither number alone confirms compatibility with a particular door.
Key Group Consistency
A keyed-alike lock group can provide a consistent key code across multiple matching locks. This item belongs to the #1452 group. The listing does not specify how many keys come with an individual lock, so no key quantity is claimed here.
Cam Lock Construction
The listing calls this a threaded cam lock with a seven-pin tumbler. It identifies the cam length and lock body length. It does not specify a metal alloy, finish, weather rating, or exact mounting hole diameter.
Locking Panel Use
The seller describes this part as fitting locking doors. A cam turns to engage the door or panel structure. The precise way it engages depends on the cabinet. This description does not claim a universal fit.
ABA Cam Lock Family
ABA is the manufacturer named for this product. The lock is offered as a new replacement part. The keyed-alike code #1452 distinguishes it from otherwise similar cam locks that may use different keys.
Vending Equipment Parts
Small parts support the daily use of commercial vending equipment. Door hardware is one part of that system. This product focuses on a straightforward mechanical locking function rather than a change to vending controls or payment equipment.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
