Mountain Dew Small Size 12 oz Can Flavor Strip for Vending Machines
Give your soda vending machine a clean, easy-to-read product display with the Mountain Dew Small Size 12 oz Can Flavor Strip. This replacement vending machine flavor strip is made to identify a Mountain Dew can selection on compatible beverage vending machines.
A clear flavor strip may seem like a small vending machine part. However, it has an important job. It tells customers what drink is behind each selection button. When the strip is clean, bright, and easy to recognize, customers can make their selection faster.
This Mountain Dew flavor strip features a Can on Ice style graphic and is designed for small-size vending machine selection windows. The listed size is approximately 1 3/4 inches by 3 19/32 inches.
It can be used in compatible Vendo and Dixie-Narco soda vending machine applications that accept this style and size of flavor strip. Always measure your existing strip before ordering.
Whether you are restoring an older soda machine, changing the drink lineup, or replacing a worn selection label, this Mountain Dew vending machine flavor strip provides a simple way to improve the appearance of your machine.

A Simple Upgrade for Your Soda Vending Machine
The front of a vending machine is the customer's main point of contact with the equipment. Customers look at the available drinks, find the product they want, and press the matching selection button.
Flavor strips help make that process simple.
If a strip is missing, faded, damaged, or showing the wrong drink, the customer may not know what is available. A replacement strip helps correct that problem without requiring a major repair or machine upgrade.
This Mountain Dew small-size flavor strip gives operators a quick way to identify a Mountain Dew 12 oz can selection. It can be useful when changing products, restoring a machine, or simply cleaning up the appearance of an existing vending location.
Designed for Mountain Dew 12 oz Can Selections
This strip is intended to represent a Mountain Dew 12 oz can selection in a compatible soda vending machine.
That distinction matters.
Vending machines may contain cans, bottles, or a combination of package sizes. They may also use several different sizes of product identification strips.
Before ordering, confirm both the beverage and the physical size of the strip you need.
If your machine is set up to vend Mountain Dew 12 oz cans and uses the listed small flavor-strip format, this strip may be the correct choice.
Small Size Flavor Strip
This product is a small-size vending machine flavor strip.
The listed dimensions are approximately:
- Height: 1 3/4 inches
- Width: 3 19/32 inches
Vending machines have been produced in many styles over the years. Even machines from the same manufacturer can use different selection displays.
For that reason, do not choose a flavor strip based only on the brand name of your vending machine.
Measure the strip already installed in your machine whenever possible. Compare those measurements with the dimensions shown above.
Why Flavor Strip Size Matters
A flavor strip needs to fit correctly inside the selection window or product display area.
A strip that is too large may not fit. A strip that is too small may move around or leave too much empty space around the graphic.
Checking the dimensions before ordering is one of the easiest ways to avoid buying the wrong vending machine label.
Before You Order
For the best results:
- Remove one existing flavor strip from your machine.
- Measure its height.
- Measure its width.
- Compare those measurements with this product.
- Check the style of the selection window.
- Confirm that you need a Mountain Dew 12 oz can graphic.
Taking a minute to measure your current strip can save time later.
Compatible Vendo Applications
Small flavor strips are commonly used in many Vendo soda vending machine configurations.
This Mountain Dew strip is listed for compatible Vendo applications. However, Vendo manufactured many machine models and selection-panel designs.
The machine manufacturer alone does not guarantee that every strip will fit every model.
Compare the dimensions of your existing strip with the dimensions of this product before purchasing.
Compatible Dixie-Narco Applications
This small-size Mountain Dew flavor strip is also listed for compatible Dixie-Narco soda vending machine applications.
Dixie-Narco produced a large number of beverage vending machines. Different models, doors, and selection systems may use different strip sizes.
The safest method is simple: measure the strip that is currently installed.
If your existing strip matches the approximate 1 3/4" x 3 19/32" size and uses the same style of selection display, this replacement may be suitable for your machine.
Ideal for Replacing a Faded Mountain Dew Strip
Flavor strips can spend years behind vending machine selection buttons.
During that time, they may become faded, scratched, dirty, bent, or damaged.
The machine may still work perfectly, but worn graphics can make the front of the machine look older than it really is.
Replacing old flavor strips is an inexpensive cosmetic improvement that can help refresh the machine's appearance.
Consider Replacement When a Strip Is:
- Faded
- Scratched
- Torn
- Bent
- Missing
- Hard to read
- Showing the wrong beverage
- Outdated compared with the rest of the machine
Useful When Changing Your Beverage Lineup
Vending operators often change products based on customer demand.
One location may sell more cola. Another may have stronger demand for Mountain Dew. Product availability can also change during the year.
When a selection changes, the label should change with it.
For example, if you replace another 12 oz canned beverage with Mountain Dew, adding the correct Mountain Dew flavor strip helps make the new selection clear to customers.
The strip provides a visual connection between the selection button and the product being vended.
Make Beverage Selections Easier to Identify
Customers generally want vending machines to be simple.
They want to see the available products, make a choice, pay, and receive the selected item.
Clear product graphics help support that experience.
A recognizable Mountain Dew image makes it easier for customers to find the Mountain Dew selection without reading a handwritten label or guessing which button to press.
This is especially useful on machines with many drink choices.
Improve the Look of an Older Soda Machine
A vending machine does not always need expensive cosmetic work to look better.
Small improvements can make a noticeable difference.
Replacing old flavor strips is one of those improvements.
Fresh product graphics can make the selection area look cleaner and more organized. This can be helpful when preparing a used machine for a new location or cleaning up equipment already on a route.
Other Simple Cosmetic Updates May Include:
- Cleaning the selection buttons
- Replacing damaged price labels
- Cleaning the display window
- Removing old tape or adhesive
- Replacing faded flavor strips
- Cleaning the coin return area
- Cleaning the delivery door
- Replacing damaged decals when needed
Mountain Dew Can on Ice Graphic
This product is described as a Mountain Dew Can on Ice flavor strip.
The beverage graphic helps customers quickly connect the selection button with Mountain Dew.
Product recognition is important on vending machines because buyers often make decisions quickly. A clear product image reduces the need for extra instructions.
Instead of using a generic handwritten label, operators can display a graphic made specifically for the beverage selection.
Why Product Identification Matters
A vending machine can hold many different beverages at the same time.
Without clear identification, customers may have trouble matching a product to the correct button.
Flavor strips provide a simple solution.
Each strip identifies the drink assigned to that selection. This creates a cleaner interface between the machine and the customer.
Clear identification may also reduce confusion when two products use similar package colors or when the machine has several selection buttons close together.
Great for Vending Route Operators
Route operators often need small replacement parts that are easy to carry and quick to install.
Flavor strips fit that need well.
Keeping commonly used strips available can make product changes easier during normal service visits.
If you regularly operate soda machines that sell Mountain Dew, keeping extra Mountain Dew flavor strips with your route supplies can be useful.
Useful Route Supplies May Include:
- Replacement flavor strips
- Price labels
- Cleaning supplies
- Basic hand tools
- Machine keys
- Replacement selection labels
- Common small vending parts
Having these items available can help operators handle simple cosmetic issues during a normal restocking visit.
A Practical Choice for Vending Machine Refurbishment
Refurbishing a used soda vending machine often involves more than mechanical repairs.
The machine also needs to look clean and ready for customers.
Flavor strips are part of that process.
A machine may have good refrigeration, working motors, a reliable coin mechanism, and a functioning bill validator. Yet faded or mismatched selection labels can still make the equipment look unfinished.
Replacing those labels helps complete the refurbishment.
When Preparing a Used Machine, Check:
- Flavor strips
- Selection buttons
- Price labels
- Coin return
- Bill validator area
- Display
- Delivery door
- Exterior graphics
- Interior cleanliness
Small details help create a more finished appearance.
Helpful for New Vending Locations
Setting up a vending machine at a new location usually involves choosing the right product mix.
Once the drinks are loaded, each selection should be labeled correctly.
If Mountain Dew is part of your lineup, this small-size flavor strip can be used to identify that selection when the machine uses the correct strip format.
This can be useful in locations such as:
- Offices
- Warehouses
- Manufacturing facilities
- Auto shops
- Break rooms
- Apartment communities
- Hotels
- Laundromats
- Recreation facilities
- Retail employee areas
The correct product mix will vary by location. Clear labels help customers understand the choices available after that mix has been selected.
Keep Your Machine Display Consistent
A vending machine looks better when the selection area follows a consistent style.
One damaged or handwritten label can stand out when the rest of the machine uses professional beverage graphics.
Replacing mismatched strips can create a more uniform appearance.
This is especially helpful on machines that have been moved between locations or changed owners several times.
Over the years, a machine may collect different strip styles. Updating those strips can help restore a cleaner presentation.
Simple Installation
Installing a flavor strip is usually a straightforward task.
The exact process depends on the vending machine and selection-button design.
Basic Installation Steps
- Open the vending machine using the proper key.
- Locate the rear of the selection-button or flavor-strip area.
- Find the existing product strip.
- Carefully remove the old strip.
- Compare the old strip with the replacement.
- Confirm the replacement is the correct size.
- Insert the new Mountain Dew strip into the display area.
- Make sure the graphic is straight and easy to see.
- Close and secure the machine.
- Check the strip from the customer's side of the machine.
Machine designs vary. Follow the service instructions for your specific equipment when necessary.
Check the Selection After Installation
After installing the strip, make sure it matches the actual beverage being vended.
A Mountain Dew strip should identify a selection that is loaded with the intended Mountain Dew product.
It is also a good idea to test-vend the selection after making product or column changes.
This helps confirm that the label, button, and loaded product all match.
Do Not Order by Appearance Alone
Two flavor strips can look similar in a photograph but have different physical dimensions.
That is why measurement is important.
Do not assume that every small soda-machine strip uses exactly the same dimensions.
Use the listed measurement as your guide:
Approximately 1 3/4" x 3 19/32".
Compare that measurement with the strip currently installed in your machine.
Vendo and Dixie-Narco Flavor Strip Applications
Vendo and Dixie-Narco machines have been widely used in the vending industry.
Many machines from these manufacturers use replaceable beverage graphics near the selection buttons.
This Mountain Dew small-size strip is intended for compatible applications of this type.
However, machine configuration matters.
A manufacturer may use different doors, button assemblies, or display systems across its product line. Modified or refurbished machines may also differ from their original configuration.
For these reasons, physical strip size is one of the most useful compatibility checks.
What Is a Vending Machine Flavor Strip?
A vending machine flavor strip is a small graphic label used to identify the product assigned to a selection.
On many traditional soda machines, these strips sit behind or near the selection buttons.
The strip may display:
- The beverage brand
- The product name
- A can or bottle image
- Product artwork
- Other product information depending on the design
The main purpose is simple. It tells the customer what they are selecting.
Why Replace Old Vending Machine Flavor Strips?
Old flavor strips may still be usable, but replacing them can improve the customer-facing appearance of the machine.
A replacement may be worthwhile when:
- You change the beverage in a column.
- The original strip is missing.
- The graphic has faded.
- The strip has been damaged.
- The strip is stained or dirty.
- The machine is being refurbished.
- You are preparing the machine for resale.
- You are moving the machine to a new account.
- You want a more consistent selection display.
Small Parts Can Make a Big Visual Difference
Vending machine maintenance is often associated with motors, control boards, refrigeration systems, coin mechanisms, and bill validators.
Those components are important.
However, customer-facing parts matter too.
Flavor strips are among the first things customers see when deciding what to purchase.
A clean selection panel can make an older machine look more organized and cared for.
Useful for Full-Line Vending Operators
Full-line vending routes may operate many soda machines across different locations.
Those machines often carry many of the same popular beverages.
Keeping spare flavor strips for commonly stocked drinks can simplify route changes.
If a location requests Mountain Dew, an operator can change the product and install the correct strip without waiting to make a separate trip for a label.
Small replacement parts are easy to organize in a service box, parts cabinet, or route vehicle.
Useful for Independent Vending Operators
You do not need a large vending route to benefit from replacement flavor strips.
Independent operators with one or several machines also need clear product labels.
If you purchase a used machine, it may arrive with flavor strips that do not match the products you plan to sell.
Replacing them lets you set up the machine around your own beverage lineup.
Useful for Used Vending Machine Dealers
Used equipment dealers often prepare machines for resale.
A clean set of product graphics can improve the overall presentation of a finished machine.
If a machine is being set up with a standard 12 oz can configuration, appropriate flavor strips can help make the selection panel look complete.
A Mountain Dew strip can be installed when Mountain Dew is part of the planned product lineup and the machine uses the correct strip dimensions.
Useful for In-House Vending Machines
Some businesses own and operate their own vending equipment instead of using an outside route company.
These machines still need normal upkeep.
When the beverage selection changes, replacing the product label helps employees and visitors understand what is available.
This small Mountain Dew strip can be a practical replacement part for compatible equipment.
Easy to Store as a Spare Part
Flavor strips are small and easy to keep with other vending supplies.
Operators who service multiple soda machines may want to keep a selection of common beverage strips available.
Store them flat and protected from bending, moisture, and unnecessary wear.
Storage Tips
- Keep strips flat.
- Store them in a clean location.
- Protect them from moisture.
- Avoid folding or creasing them.
- Organize strips by beverage brand.
- Separate strips by size when you carry multiple formats.
Good organization makes it easier to find the correct strip during a service call.
Keep Spare Mountain Dew Strips on Hand
If Mountain Dew is a common product on your vending route, keeping extra strips may save time.
A strip can become damaged during cleaning, machine transport, repair work, or normal use.
Having a replacement available means you can correct the display during the same service visit.
This is a simple way to keep machines looking complete without adding another trip to the route.
Check Your Machine Before Ordering
Compatibility should always be checked before ordering vending machine parts or graphics.
For this product, start with the physical dimensions.
The listed strip size is approximately:
1 3/4 inches x 3 19/32 inches.
Then confirm that your selection area is designed for this style of small strip.
Compatibility Checklist
- Do you need a Mountain Dew selection label?
- Are you vending the intended 12 oz can product?
- Does your machine use a small flavor strip?
- Does your existing strip measure about 1 3/4" x 3 19/32"?
- Does the strip mount in the same orientation?
- Does your selection window have enough space for this format?
If the answers match your machine, you are much more likely to be choosing the correct style.
Measure Your Existing Flavor Strip
Measuring the old strip is usually the fastest way to confirm the correct replacement.
Use a ruler or tape measure and check both dimensions.
Do not rely only on the outside dimensions of the selection button. The insert inside the button or display area may be smaller.
Whenever possible, remove the old strip and measure the strip itself.
Mountain Dew Flavor Strip for Machine Restoration
Older vending machines are often restored for continued route use, resale, collections, offices, garages, and other applications.
A restoration may involve both mechanical and cosmetic work.
After the main repairs are finished, replacement flavor strips can help complete the front of the machine.
If the restored machine will vend Mountain Dew 12 oz cans and uses this small strip size, this product can provide the needed selection graphic.
Refresh a Machine Without Replacing the Selection Panel
A worn flavor strip does not necessarily mean the entire selection assembly needs replacement.
If the button and display are still in good condition, changing the insert may be enough.
This makes flavor strips a practical cosmetic replacement item.
The job can often be completed quickly compared with larger vending machine repairs.
Keep Product Labels Matched to Actual Inventory
One of the most important rules for vending machine presentation is simple:
The label should match the product.
If the machine displays Mountain Dew, the corresponding selection should vend Mountain Dew.
Incorrect labels can frustrate customers.
Whenever you change the product loaded into a column, check the selection graphic at the same time.
Helpful During Seasonal Product Changes
Some vending locations change their beverage mix during the year.
Operators may adjust selections based on sales, availability, weather, or requests from the location.
Flavor strips make those changes easier to communicate.
When Mountain Dew is added to the lineup, installing the matching strip lets customers know that the selection is available.
A Small Part for Better Vending Organization
Good vending operations depend on organization.
Products should be loaded correctly. Prices should be accurate. Selection buttons should work. Labels should match the products.
Flavor strips are one small part of that system.
When each selection is clearly identified, the machine is easier for customers to understand and easier for route operators to inspect.
Use the Strip as Part of a Selection-Area Cleanup
Installing a new flavor strip is also a good time to clean the surrounding area.
Selection buttons are touched frequently and may collect dirt over time.
Before inserting the replacement strip, clean the button or display area according to the machine manufacturer's recommendations.
Make sure the area is dry before reassembling it.
A Basic Selection-Area Refresh Can Include:
- Removing the old flavor strip
- Cleaning the clear display surface
- Removing loose dust
- Checking the selection button
- Installing the new strip
- Checking alignment
- Testing the selection
Good Presentation Supports a Professional Vending Location
Vending machines are often placed in businesses where customers and employees see them every day.
A clean machine reflects better on both the vending operator and the location.
Keeping the product display organized is part of normal machine care.
Replacing faded or missing strips is a small task that can contribute to a cleaner overall appearance.
Perfect for a Mountain Dew Selection Change
If you are converting an existing 12 oz can selection to Mountain Dew, remember that changing the physical product is only part of the job.
You should also update the selection graphic.
This Mountain Dew small-size strip gives customers a clear visual reference for the new drink.
After installing the strip and loading the product, test the machine to make sure the selection works correctly.
Suitable for Repair Shops and Vending Service Companies
Vending repair shops often work on machines from many operators.
Keeping common flavor strips available can help complete cosmetic work after mechanical repairs.
A repaired machine may function correctly but still need updated labels before it returns to the customer.
For compatible machines using the small format, this Mountain Dew strip can help finish that job.
Useful for Parts Departments
Vending businesses with an internal parts department may stock common flavor strips alongside other small vending components.
Because beverage selections change often, keeping organized replacement graphics can be useful.
Parts can be sorted by:
- Brand
- Beverage type
- Can or bottle application
- Strip size
- Machine style
Clear organization reduces the chance of taking the wrong strip to a service location.
Mountain Dew Vending Machine Display Replacement
Customers searching for a Mountain Dew vending machine display replacement may be looking for a flavor strip like this one.
It is not the selection button itself. It is the graphic used to identify the beverage selection.
If your button, switch, or electrical selection system is damaged, additional parts may be required.
This product is intended for the visual identification of the beverage.
Mountain Dew Vending Machine Label
Flavor strips are also sometimes described as vending machine labels, product labels, button inserts, selection labels, or beverage strips.
The names can vary, but the basic purpose is the same.
They help show customers which beverage is assigned to each vending selection.
When searching for a replacement, the physical dimensions are more important than the terminology used to describe the part.
Mountain Dew Soda Machine Flavor Strip
This product is a useful option for operators searching for a Mountain Dew soda machine flavor strip for a compatible small-format selection display.
It is designed specifically to represent Mountain Dew rather than using a generic beverage label.
A beverage-specific strip helps maintain a more finished and recognizable selection panel.
Mountain Dew 12 oz Can Vending Label
The strip is intended for a Mountain Dew 12 oz can selection.
Always make sure the displayed package type matches the product you intend to sell.
Bottle and can graphics may use different sizes or artwork.
If your machine sells a different Mountain Dew package size, check the appropriate flavor-strip category before ordering.
Vending Machine Button Insert for Mountain Dew
Depending on the machine design, a flavor strip may sit behind a clear selection button or in a separate product display area.
For this reason, some operators search for these products as button inserts.
Regardless of the name, verify the insert dimensions before purchasing.
Why Keep Vending Graphics Clean?
The product graphics are located directly in front of customers.
Fingerprints, dust, dirt, faded artwork, and damaged strips can reduce readability.
Cleaning the selection area during routine service helps maintain the machine.
If cleaning no longer improves an old strip, replacement may be the better option.
Part of Preventive Vending Machine Care
Preventive maintenance usually focuses on mechanical and electrical systems.
However, operators can also include a quick visual inspection during each service visit.
Check the Following:
- Are all flavor strips present?
- Do the strips match the products?
- Are the prices easy to read?
- Are selection buttons clean?
- Are any strips bent or faded?
- Are sold-out indicators visible where applicable?
- Does each selection vend the correct product?
These checks take little time and can help keep the machine organized.
Good for Route Rebranding and Product Resets
Operators sometimes acquire vending routes that contain machines with mixed or outdated product graphics.
A route-wide cleanup can help create a more consistent presentation.
Replacing old strips is an easy part of that process.
If Mountain Dew is included in the new product plan, this small strip can be used where the machine accepts the listed size.
Easy Product Identification for Customers
Customers should not need instructions to understand a standard soda machine.
A clear product image helps make the machine intuitive.
The customer sees Mountain Dew, chooses the corresponding button, and completes the purchase.
That simple visual communication is the main reason flavor strips remain useful on traditional beverage vending machines.
Suitable for High-Traffic Vending Locations
In a busy vending location, customers may make selections quickly.
They may be on a short work break or passing through a common area.
Easy-to-recognize beverage graphics help them find the product they want without spending extra time studying the machine.
Keeping strips clean and correctly matched to the inventory supports that simple buying process.
Useful for Break Room Soda Machines
Employee break rooms are common vending locations.
The same customers may use the machine every day.
When product selections change, clear labels help regular users notice the new lineup.
Adding Mountain Dew to a compatible machine can be paired with the matching Mountain Dew flavor strip.
Useful for Warehouse Vending Locations
Warehouses and distribution facilities often use vending machines to provide convenient drinks during work shifts.
These machines can receive frequent use.
Keeping selection labels in good condition helps maintain a clean and functional vending area.
Replacement flavor strips can be changed during regular machine service without a major interruption.
Useful for Office Vending Machines
Office vending areas should be simple and easy to use.
A clearly labeled drink machine helps employees and visitors quickly find their preferred beverage.
When Mountain Dew is offered, the correct selection graphic makes the choice easy to identify.
Useful for Laundromat Vending Machines
Laundromats are another common location for soda vending equipment.
Customers may spend significant time at the location and use the vending machine while waiting.
Clear beverage labels help make the machine straightforward to use.
Replacing faded strips is also a simple way to improve the look of older equipment.
Useful for Hotel and Motel Vending Areas
Hotels and motels often have vending machines used by guests who may have never seen the equipment before.
Clear product graphics make those machines easier to understand.
A properly labeled Mountain Dew selection lets guests quickly identify the drink.
Useful for Auto Shops and Service Centers
Customers waiting for vehicle service may use an on-site vending machine.
The machine should be clean, stocked, and easy to understand.
Fresh flavor strips can be one part of keeping the equipment presentable.
Useful for Manufacturing Facilities
Manufacturing facilities often have vending machines in employee break areas.
These machines may be used throughout several shifts each day.
Routine service should include checking the condition of product labels.
A damaged Mountain Dew strip can be replaced quickly when the correct spare is available.
Use the Correct Strip for the Correct Machine
Not every vending machine uses this size.
Some machines use medium strips. Others use larger graphics, live displays, digital menus, or completely different button systems.
This product is specifically described as a small-size flavor strip.
Measure first.
That simple step can prevent compatibility problems.
Small Flavor Strip vs. Larger Flavor Strips
Flavor strips come in different formats because vending machine selection panels are not all the same.
A small strip is generally used where the available display space is compact.
Larger machine displays require different graphics.
Do not trim a larger strip unless you have confirmed that doing so is suitable for your application. Choosing the correct original size generally gives a cleaner result.

Visual Suggestion: Show the Strip Next to a Ruler

This helps customers understand the physical size before ordering.
An image showing both the height and width can reduce confusion between small, medium, and large vending machine strips.
Visual Suggestion: Show the Strip Installed
Visual idea: Add a close-up image of the strip installed in a compatible soda vending machine selection button.
This gives customers a better idea of how the finished installation should look.
A second photo could show the back side of the selection assembly to help operators understand where the strip is inserted.
Visual Suggestion: Compare Flavor Strip Sizes
Visual idea: Create a simple size comparison showing small, medium, and large vending machine flavor strips.
Label each example with its dimensions.
This type of visual can help buyers select the right strip before placing an order.
Installation Tips
- Turn off or secure the machine if required before servicing it.
- Use the proper machine key.
- Keep the old strip until the replacement is installed.
- Compare the old and new strips before insertion.
- Do not force an oversized strip into the selection window.
- Keep the graphic straight.
- Make sure the product name is easy to see.
- Check the display from the customer's side.
- Test the selection after any product change.
Maintenance Tips for Flavor Strips
Flavor strips require very little maintenance.
Most care involves keeping the surrounding display area clean and protecting the strip from damage.
- Clean the clear selection window when needed.
- Avoid harsh cleaning products directly on printed graphics.
- Replace strips that become badly faded.
- Replace strips that become torn or creased.
- Keep spare strips stored flat.
- Check labels whenever the beverage lineup changes.
For Operators With Multiple Machines
If you operate several beverage vending machines, consider keeping a small inventory of common flavor strips.
Organize them by size first and beverage second.
For example, keep all small can strips together and separate them from bottle strips and larger display formats.
This makes it easier to find the correct part when preparing for a route service call.
Reduce Customer Confusion
Imagine a customer seeing a Mountain Dew can behind the glass or knowing that Mountain Dew is stocked, but the selection button still displays another beverage.
That mismatch creates uncertainty.
A correct flavor strip fixes the visual problem.
The customer can see which button corresponds to the drink they want.
Better Than a Handwritten Product Label
A handwritten label can work as a temporary solution.
However, it usually does not provide the same finished appearance as a beverage-specific flavor strip.
A dedicated Mountain Dew graphic creates a cleaner product display and is easier to recognize at a glance.
Replace Missing Flavor Strips
Used vending machines sometimes arrive with missing inserts.
A previous operator may have removed a product, changed the selection panel, or lost the original strip during service.
A replacement Mountain Dew strip allows you to restore the display when Mountain Dew is assigned to that selection.
Complete Your Soda Machine Setup
When setting up a soda vending machine, operators often focus first on the major systems.
The refrigeration system needs to cool correctly.
The vend motors need to work.
The payment system needs to accept money.
The machine also needs the correct products and labels.
Flavor strips help complete that final customer-facing step.
Use Alongside Other Beverage Flavor Strips
Most soda vending machines offer several drink choices.
Mountain Dew may be one selection among cola, diet soda, lemon-lime soda, root beer, water, or other beverages.
Using properly sized flavor strips for every selection creates a consistent display.
When replacing one strip, inspect the rest of the selection panel. You may find other worn graphics that could also use replacement.
Why Operators Choose Replacement Flavor Strips
Replacement strips are simple, affordable parts that can solve several common vending display problems.
They can help when a product changes.
They can replace damaged graphics.
They can improve the look of refurbished machines.
They can also help standardize machines across a route.
Because installation is generally simple, flavor-strip replacement can often be handled during routine vending service.
Check Price Labels at the Same Time
When replacing a flavor strip, also inspect the price displayed for that selection.
Make sure the price shown to customers matches the machine's programmed vend price.
Clear product identification and accurate pricing work together to make the vending machine easier to use.
Check Sold-Out Indicators
Many traditional soda vending machines use sold-out indicators as part of the selection system.
When working around the flavor-strip area, make sure any indicator system remains visible and works correctly.
A product graphic should not interfere with the normal operation of the selection display.
Check Selection Buttons During Installation
Replacing a flavor strip gives you a good opportunity to inspect the selection button.
Make sure it moves normally and is not cracked or loose.
If the selection button itself is damaged, replacing only the flavor strip will not correct that mechanical issue.
Additional vending machine parts may be required.
Keep Your Vending Machine Ready for Customers
A reliable vending machine needs more than working internal components.
It should also be easy for customers to understand.
Clear flavor strips are a simple part of that goal.
The Mountain Dew small-size 12 oz can flavor strip helps identify a popular beverage selection while giving the machine a cleaner, more complete appearance.

Is this flavor strip new?
Yes. The product is listed as a new part.
Is this a selection button?
No. This is the graphic strip used to identify the product. It does not replace the button, switch, or complete selection assembly.

Can I keep extra strips as spare parts?
Yes. Flavor strips are small and easy to store. Keep them flat and protected from moisture, bending, and damage.
Can I order based only on my vending machine brand?
It is better to check the dimensions as well. Machines from the same manufacturer may use different selection panels and flavor-strip sizes.
What should I do if my current strip is a different size?
Look for a flavor strip that matches the dimensions and display style used by your machine. Do not force an incorrect size into the selection window.

Can route operators keep these in their service vehicle?

Reasons to Keep Your Flavor Strips Updated
A flavor strip is small, but customers interact with it every time they consider a purchase.
Keeping product graphics updated offers several practical benefits.
- Customers can identify drinks more easily.
- Product changes are clearly communicated.
- The selection panel looks more organized.
- Old handwritten labels can be removed.
- Refurbished equipment looks more complete.
- Route operators can keep product displays consistent.
Mountain Dew Small Size Flavor Strip Buying Guide
Before adding the product to your order, check three main details.
1. Check the Beverage
Confirm that you need a Mountain Dew graphic for the selection.
2. Check the Package Style
This listing is intended for a 12 oz can display.
3. Check the Physical Size
Compare your current strip with the listed approximate dimensions of 1 3/4" x 3 19/32".
If these details match your vending machine setup, this strip may be the correct replacement.
Make Routine Vending Service More Complete
During a normal route stop, operators may fill products, collect money, clean the machine, and check payment systems.
Adding a quick inspection of the selection graphics takes only a short time.
Look for missing, incorrect, or damaged labels.
If a Mountain Dew strip needs replacement and you have the correct size available, the issue can often be corrected during the same visit.
Keep Spare Graphics Organized by Size
If you carry many flavor strips, organization becomes important.
A simple storage system can save time.
Use separate envelopes, folders, or bins for different strip sizes. Then organize each size by beverage brand.
Label the storage area clearly so the correct strip is easy to find before a route stop.
Small Detail, Professional Appearance
Vending customers may never think about the flavor strip itself.
That is usually a good thing.
When the strip is correct and easy to read, it simply does its job.
Problems become noticeable when the strip is missing, wrong, or damaged.
Replacing it restores the simple visual information customers expect from a soda vending machine.
Refresh Mountain Dew Selections on Older Machines
Older Vendo and Dixie-Narco soda machines can remain useful for many years when properly maintained.
Their external graphics may show age before the mechanical systems need replacement.
A new Mountain Dew flavor strip can help refresh the selection area without changing the entire door or control system.
Always confirm the dimensions because older machines can use several different strip formats.
Pair the Correct Graphic With the Correct Product
When loading your machine, check the relationship between the product, column, button, price, and flavor strip.
All five should match.
For a Mountain Dew selection:
- Load the intended Mountain Dew product.
- Confirm the column is set correctly.
- Check the selection button.
- Verify the vend price.
- Install the matching Mountain Dew flavor strip.
- Test the selection.
This simple process helps prevent customer confusion.
Order the Correct Mountain Dew Vending Machine Flavor Strip
If your machine uses a small flavor strip measuring approximately 1 3/4" x 3 19/32" and you need to identify a Mountain Dew 12 oz can selection, this product is designed for that purpose.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
