Pagoda Plug Lock for Vending Machines – Key Code A2029, Keyed Alike
Protect your vending equipment with a dependable Pagoda Plug Lock for Vending Machines, featuring Key Code A2029 and a keyed-alike configuration. This replacement vending machine lock is designed for vending operators, technicians, route owners, and businesses that need reliable access control for their equipment. Its practical design makes it an excellent choice when replacing worn, damaged, missing, or outdated vending machine locks.
The A2029 Pagoda Plug Lock is a convenient solution for maintaining the security of vending machines while making authorized access simple. Because the locks are keyed alike, multiple locks can be operated using the same key. This can be especially useful for vending operators who manage several machines and want to reduce the number of different keys required during routine service and maintenance.
Designed for Vending Machine Security
Vending machines are often placed in locations where they need dependable physical security. A properly functioning lock helps restrict access to the machine's internal components, cash area, controls, and merchandise. The Pagoda Plug Lock provides a practical replacement option for vending machines that require a compatible plug-style locking system.
Whether you are servicing a single machine or maintaining a larger vending route, replacing a damaged or unreliable lock can help keep your equipment ready for daily operation. A new lock can also provide a cleaner, more professional appearance compared with an old, worn, or corroded locking mechanism.
Keyed Alike Convenience
One of the biggest advantages of this A2029 keyed-alike vending machine lock is the convenience of using matching locks across multiple machines. When several locks share the same key code, operators can access multiple compatible machines without carrying a separate key for every individual lock.
This keyed-alike configuration can simplify service calls, route maintenance, inspections, and routine cash collection. It is a practical choice for vending businesses looking to standardize their equipment and make day-to-day operations more efficient.
Replacement Lock for Vending Equipment
The Pagoda Plug Lock is well suited for replacement applications. If an existing vending machine lock has become difficult to operate, has been damaged, or needs to be replaced as part of equipment maintenance, this lock offers a straightforward option to consider.
It can be useful for vending machine owners, independent operators, vending route companies, equipment refurbishers, repair technicians, and businesses responsible for maintaining vending equipment. Keeping replacement locks available can also help reduce downtime when a machine requires immediate service.
Simple and Practical Design
The plug-style configuration provides a compact locking solution for compatible vending machine applications. Its straightforward design makes it suitable for routine replacement and maintenance work without adding unnecessary complexity to the equipment.
For vending operators, reliability and convenience are important. A replacement lock should provide secure physical access control while allowing authorized personnel to open the machine when servicing equipment. The A2029 Pagoda Plug Lock is designed with these everyday vending requirements in mind.
Ideal for Vending Machine Operators
Managing multiple vending machines can involve frequent travel between locations and regular maintenance. Standardizing locks can make these tasks easier. With keyed-alike A2029 locks, operators can maintain compatible machines using a common key configuration.
This can help reduce key clutter and make it easier for authorized personnel to perform scheduled maintenance. It is particularly useful for businesses that want consistency across a vending machine fleet.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
