It supports common beverage packages such as 12 oz cans, 16 oz cans, 16.9 oz bottles, and 20 oz bottles when properly configured. This flexibility makes the Royal 660 useful for soda, energy drinks, water, sports drinks, tea, and many other cold beverage choices.

The machine also features multi-price operation, coin acceptance, $1 bill acceptance, DEX protocol, and credit-card-capable electronics. A credit card reader is not included with the standard machine and must be purchased separately if cashless payments are desired.

A Commercial Beverage Machine Made for Real Vending Locations

A commercial vending machine has a different job from a small countertop cooler or residential refrigerator. It must hold a large amount of inventory, keep drinks cold, accept payments, and vend products repeatedly throughout the day.

The Royal Vendors 660 was designed for this type of work.

Its large cabinet gives an operator room for a substantial beverage inventory. That can be especially useful in locations where customers purchase drinks throughout the day.

A larger capacity can also reduce the chance of empty selections between service visits.

For a vending operator, that matters.

Every empty column can represent a missed sale. A machine with enough capacity for the location can help keep popular products available longer.

The Royal 660 is therefore well suited to many traditional vending environments, including:

  • Office buildings
  • Employee break rooms
  • Factories
  • Manufacturing facilities
  • Warehouses
  • Distribution centers
  • Laundromats
  • Apartment communities
  • College and university areas
  • Recreation facilities
  • Auto repair waiting rooms
  • Dealership service areas
  • Hotels and motels
  • Indoor sports facilities
  • Employee cafeterias
  • Commercial waiting areas
  • Large retail employee areas
  • Other suitable commercial vending locations

Bold Monster Energy Chameleon Graphics

Appearance matters in vending.

Customers have to notice a machine before they can purchase from it. The Monster Energy Chameleon graphics give this Royal 660 a bold, modern look that can stand out in many locations.

The graphics are especially appropriate for locations where energy drinks are popular.

This may include warehouses, factories, automotive businesses, recreation areas, college environments, and employee break rooms.

The graphic package can also help turn a standard beverage machine into a more noticeable part of the room.

Good vending placement combines visibility with convenience. A machine should be easy to see and easy to reach.

Consider positioning the Royal 660 where people naturally stop, wait, work, or take breaks.

The Monster Energy appearance can help draw attention, while the actual product mix inside the machine can be adjusted for the needs of the account.

Large 660+ Can Capacity

One of the biggest advantages of the Royal Vendors 660 is its capacity.

The machine is listed to hold 660+ standard 12 oz cans when configured for that package.

That is a substantial amount of beverage inventory in one cabinet.

Large capacity can be useful for busy accounts because the operator may be able to stock more product during each service visit.

This can reduce the frequency of emergency restocking caused by popular products selling out.

Capacity is not only about fitting more drinks into the machine. It can also help make a vending route easier to manage.

For example, an operator may have several accounts spread across a large service area. A machine that carries enough inventory between normal service visits can make route planning more predictable.

Actual capacity varies according to package size and configuration. Larger bottles require more room than standard cans.

Always configure the machine correctly for the exact beverage package being sold.

300+ Bottle Capacity

Many vending locations need more than canned soda.

Customers may want bottled water, sports drinks, iced tea, lemonade, juice beverages, or energy drinks.

The Royal 660 is listed with capacity for 300+ 20 oz bottles when set up for this package size.

Bottle capacity gives operators another way to build a product mix around the needs of the location.

A warehouse might have strong demand for water and sports drinks.

An office may sell more bottled water, diet beverages, and tea.

A laundromat might need a simple mix of soda, water, and energy drinks.

The best selection depends on the people using the machine.

Instead of assuming that every account should carry the same drinks, watch actual sales and adjust the product mix over time.

Supports Several Common Beverage Sizes

The Royal Vendors 660 can be configured for several popular beverage packages.

Common options include:

  • 12 oz cans
  • 16 oz cans
  • 16.9 oz bottles
  • 20 oz bottles

This flexibility gives operators more choices when creating a beverage menu.

You may choose to concentrate on standard canned soda. You may prefer a bottle-heavy setup. You can also create a mix based on the specific needs of your account.

Always confirm the exact package dimensions and machine setup before loading a new product.

Bottle and can shapes can vary between beverage manufacturers. Correct setup helps products vend consistently.

8 Customer Selections

This Monster Energy Chameleon configuration is listed with 8 customer selections.

Eight selections give customers a useful range of beverage choices without making the front of the machine unnecessarily complicated.

A simple selection layout can make purchasing quick.

Customers identify the beverage they want, make payment, and select the corresponding choice.

The operator can use the eight selections strategically.

A basic mix might include:

  • Regular cola
  • Diet or zero-sugar cola
  • Lemon-lime soda
  • Another popular soda flavor
  • Bottled water
  • Sports drink
  • Energy drink
  • Tea or another alternative beverage

That is only an example.

The best product lineup is the one that matches actual customer demand at the location.

12 Product Columns

Although the machine provides eight selections, it is listed with 12 product columns.

This gives the operator an important advantage.

Some high-demand selections can receive more than one column.

For example, imagine that bottled water, cola, and a popular energy drink sell much faster than the other products.

The operator can use additional column capacity for the fastest-moving products when the machine configuration permits it.

This helps balance the inventory inside the machine.

Instead of giving every drink the same amount of space, you can give more space to products that need it.

That can help reduce sold-out conditions.

Why Column Allocation Matters

Successful vending is not only about choosing popular products.

It is also about stocking the correct quantity of each product.

Suppose one beverage sells twice as fast as another.

If both receive the same capacity, the popular drink may sell out early while the slower drink remains nearly full.

That is not an efficient use of machine space.

Using multiple columns for faster sellers can help create a better balance.

Watch your sales during the first few service cycles.

Then make adjustments.

If one drink constantly sells out, consider giving it additional capacity.

If another product barely moves, replace it or reduce the space assigned to it.

This simple approach can help improve the performance of a vending location.

Multi-Price Beverage Vending

The Royal Vendors 660 supports multi-price vending.

This is important because beverages do not always have the same cost.

A standard can of soda may need one selling price. A larger bottle may need another. Premium beverages or energy drinks may require a different price again.

Multi-price operation gives the operator more flexibility.

Instead of forcing every selection to use one price, prices can be set according to the products being sold and the capabilities of the machine's controller.

This is useful when building a mixed beverage menu.

It can also help an operator respond to changes in wholesale product costs.

Accepts Coins

Traditional cash payment remains useful in many vending locations.

This Royal 660 is equipped for coin acceptance.

A working coin mechanism allows customers to make purchases using accepted coin denominations.

Coin payment can be especially useful in industrial locations, laundromats, older commercial buildings, and other accounts where cash is still commonly used.

Operators should regularly check the coin mechanism during service visits.

Keep it clean and make sure the change tubes contain enough coins for normal operation.

A machine that cannot return required change may lose sales even when it is fully stocked.

Accepts $1 Bills

The machine is also listed as accepting $1 bills.

Bill acceptance gives customers another convenient way to pay.

A bill validator can be especially important when product prices make coin-only purchases inconvenient.

During regular service, inspect the validator and keep the bill path clean.

If bills are rejected more often than normal, cleaning or service may be required.

Payment equipment is an important part of the customer experience.

A cold machine full of drinks cannot produce sales if customers cannot complete a payment.

Credit Card Capable

Cashless payments have become an important part of modern vending.

The Royal Vendors 660 Monster Energy Chameleon is listed as credit-card capable.

This does not mean a credit card reader is included with the standard machine.

Credit-card capable means the machine has electronics suitable for adding a compatible vending card reader.

The reader, installation, activation, cellular service, processing service, and other related costs may be separate.

Confirm compatibility before ordering a reader.

Cashless capability can be valuable in locations where customers regularly use cards or mobile wallets instead of cash.

It can also give customers another payment choice when they do not have coins or bills available.

Important Credit Card Reader Note

A credit card reader is not included with the base Royal 660 machine unless specifically stated as part of your order.

If you want cashless payment, review the available reader options and installation requirements before the machine ships.

This can make installation at the final location easier.

DEX Protocol

The Royal Vendors 660 Monster Energy Chameleon listing identifies the machine as supporting DEX protocol.

DEX is commonly used in commercial vending for machine data exchange with compatible vending equipment and management systems.

The value of DEX depends on the rest of the operator's technology setup.

Operators using compatible telemetry, cashless, or vending management systems may be able to use machine data as part of their route management process.

Always verify compatibility between the machine and any third-party hardware or software you plan to install.

Designed for Cold Beverage Vending

Customers expect a beverage vending machine to deliver a cold drink.

The Royal 660 is a refrigerated commercial beverage vending machine designed for this job.

Proper refrigeration helps make soda, water, energy drinks, sports drinks, and other beverages more appealing.

Like any refrigerated commercial machine, it needs proper airflow and routine maintenance.

Do not install the machine in a way that blocks required ventilation.

Keep the refrigeration area clean.

Dust, dirt, and debris can build up over time, especially in warehouses, factories, laundromats, and other demanding environments.

Periodic inspection and cleaning can help the cooling system operate as intended.

Built for Commercial Use

The Royal Vendors 660 is commercial vending equipment.

That means it is designed around the needs of vending locations rather than light residential use.

The cabinet must support a large beverage load. The door must handle repeated customer use. Payment equipment must process transactions. The refrigeration system must keep products cold.

These demands are one reason many vending operators choose established commercial machines when building a route.

A commercial cabinet also gives an operator access to serviceable vending components.

Over the life of a machine, parts may require cleaning, adjustment, repair, or replacement.

Routine maintenance should therefore be considered a normal part of vending machine ownership.

Refurbished Royal Vendors 660

This Royal 660 is listed as a refurbished vending machine.

For many vending businesses, refurbished commercial equipment can provide a practical alternative to purchasing new equipment.

A refurbished machine allows an operator to put commercial equipment into service without necessarily paying the price associated with a brand-new machine.

That can be especially useful for:

  • New vending operators
  • Small vending businesses
  • Route operators adding new accounts
  • Businesses replacing older equipment
  • Companies adding employee vending
  • Operators testing a new location
  • Property owners adding an amenity
  • Laundromat owners adding beverage sales
  • Warehouse managers adding break-room vending

Condition and cosmetic appearance can vary on refurbished equipment.

Review current product photos, machine rating information, warranty terms, and final configuration before ordering.

Why Consider a Refurbished Beverage Machine?

The cost of equipment matters when building a vending business.

Revenue from a location must eventually cover product costs, service time, fuel, payment processing, equipment expenses, repairs, and other operating costs.

For this reason, some operators choose refurbished commercial equipment instead of new machines.

The goal is not simply to buy the least expensive machine.

The goal is to choose equipment that fits the account and the business plan.

A properly selected refurbished machine can allow an operator to preserve capital for inventory, additional equipment, route expansion, repairs, marketing, and other business needs.

A Good Fit for Vending Route Operators

Route efficiency matters.

Every service visit takes time.

An operator has to travel to the account, enter the location, open the machine, collect money, refill products, clean the equipment, check payment systems, and handle any service issues.

A large-capacity machine can help support a more efficient service schedule when the capacity matches the account's sales volume.

The Royal 660 gives operators substantial inventory space in a single cabinet.

That can be useful when building routes with medium- or higher-volume beverage accounts.

Service frequency should still be based on actual sales.

Do not wait until every product is empty.

A good service schedule keeps popular selections available while avoiding unnecessary trips.

Ideal for Employee Break Rooms

Employee break rooms are a common location for beverage vending.

Workers may want a cold drink before a shift, during lunch, or while taking a short break.

A Royal 660 can provide convenient access without requiring employees to leave the property.

The large capacity can be helpful in facilities with multiple shifts.

Product choices can also be adjusted for the workforce.

For example, a break-room beverage mix might include:

  • Regular soda
  • Zero-sugar soda
  • Bottled water
  • Energy drinks
  • Sports drinks
  • Iced tea
  • Lemonade
  • Other popular cold beverages

Useful for Warehouses and Distribution Centers

Warehouses can be strong locations for cold beverage vending.

Employees may work long shifts and perform physically demanding jobs.

Easy access to cold beverages can be convenient during scheduled breaks.

A large machine also makes sense when many employees use the same break area.

The Monster Energy graphics can be a natural visual fit for locations where energy drinks are popular.

However, the machine does not have to be stocked only with Monster Energy products.

The operator can create a beverage mix based on the account and machine configuration.

Suitable for Manufacturing Facilities

Manufacturing plants often operate for long hours.

Some run multiple shifts each day.

That creates ongoing demand for convenient refreshments.

A commercial beverage machine can serve employees without requiring a staffed cafeteria or store.

The Royal 660's large capacity can be helpful where many employees share one vending area.

For larger facilities, several machines may be placed in different break areas to improve access.

Great for Laundromats

Customers at a laundromat may remain on site for an extended period.

That waiting time can create an opportunity for vending sales.

A cold drink machine provides a convenient option without requiring employees to manually sell beverages.

The Royal 660 can be placed in an appropriate indoor area with power, ventilation, customer access, and enough room for service.

A simple laundromat product mix might focus on recognizable sodas, bottled water, sports drinks, and energy drinks.

Apartment and Residential Community Vending

Apartment communities may use vending machines in laundry rooms, recreation areas, clubhouses, or other approved common areas.

Residents can purchase a beverage without leaving the property.

For property managers, vending can add another convenience to shared spaces.

Placement should always consider security, access, electrical service, ventilation, and local property rules.

Automotive and Service Waiting Areas

Auto repair facilities and dealerships often have customers waiting for service.

A beverage machine can give those customers an easy way to purchase a cold drink.

The Monster Energy Chameleon appearance can fit particularly well in automotive environments.

The machine can also serve technicians and other employees throughout the workday.

Choosing the Right Products

A good vending machine is only part of a successful vending setup.

You also need the right products.

Start with familiar drinks that are likely to sell at the location.

Then watch the sales.

Do not keep a slow product simply because it is popular somewhere else.

Every location is different.

A factory may have different buying habits than an office.

A gym may have different demand than a laundromat.

A college environment may have different preferences than an apartment complex.

Use actual sales to guide future stocking decisions.

Building a Balanced Beverage Menu

A balanced beverage menu gives customers choices while protecting valuable machine space.

Possible categories include:

  • Regular carbonated soft drinks
  • Diet and zero-sugar drinks
  • Bottled water
  • Energy drinks
  • Sports drinks
  • Iced tea
  • Lemonade
  • Juice beverages

You do not need every category in every machine.

Use the eight selections for the drinks that make the most sense for your customers.

Use Extra Capacity for Best Sellers

The relationship between eight selections and twelve columns can be useful when planning inventory.

If several products sell faster than the others, extra columns may be allocated to those high-demand selections depending on the machine setup.

For example, bottled water may sell quickly in a hot warehouse.

Instead of allowing the water selection to empty early, an operator may be able to dedicate more capacity to it.

The same idea can be used for cola, energy drinks, sports drinks, or any other strong seller.

The goal is simple.

Put more inventory behind products that need more inventory.

Monitor Sales Before Making Major Changes

Avoid changing the entire product mix after only a few sales.

Give the location enough time to develop buying patterns.

Track what sells.

Look for repeated patterns across several service visits.

Then adjust.

You may discover that one product sells quickly every week while another barely moves.

Replace weak sellers and expand strong ones.

Over time, the machine can become better matched to the account.

Set Prices Based on Your Business

Multi-price capability lets operators set different prices for different selections.

When setting prices, consider:

  • Your wholesale product cost
  • Package size
  • Local market prices
  • Service frequency
  • Travel costs
  • Location commission, if applicable
  • Payment processing costs
  • Maintenance expenses
  • Desired operating margin

Avoid choosing a selling price based only on what another vending operator charges.

Their costs may be different from yours.

Know your own numbers.

Cash and Cashless Payment Options

Customers have different payment preferences.

Some still use coins and bills.

Others prefer a card or mobile payment.

The Royal 660 provides a foundation for offering several payment methods.

The listed configuration accepts coins and $1 bills. It is also credit-card capable for operators who want to add compatible cashless equipment.

Offering more than one payment method can make the machine accessible to more customers.

Understanding “Credit Card Capable”

This phrase is important.

Credit card capable does not mean that a card reader comes installed on the machine.

It means the machine's electronics are suitable for a compatible cashless reader.

If you want card payments, you will normally need to purchase the reader separately and arrange the required service and installation.

Before ordering cashless equipment, confirm:

  • Reader compatibility
  • Machine communication requirements
  • Installation requirements
  • Cellular coverage at the location
  • Processing fees
  • Monthly service costs
  • Account activation requirements

Plan the Location Before Delivery

The Royal Vendors 660 is a full-size commercial vending machine.

Do not order based only on the size of the final vending area.

Measure the entire delivery route.

The listed machine dimensions are approximately:

  • 72 inches high
  • 37.5 inches wide
  • 34.5 inches deep

The listing gives a weight of approximately 640 pounds.

Because this is large, heavy commercial equipment, proper delivery planning is important.

Measure the Entire Delivery Path

Before purchasing, check:

  • Exterior doors
  • Interior doors
  • Hallway widths
  • Sharp hallway turns
  • Elevator dimensions
  • Elevator weight limits
  • Ramps
  • Steps and stairs
  • Loading docks
  • Thresholds
  • Ceiling clearance
  • Final machine location
  • Service access around the machine

A machine can fit perfectly in the final room but still be impossible to move through a narrow doorway.

Measure first.

Allow Space for Service

Do not install the machine tightly into a space without considering future service.

An operator needs access to open the machine and reach internal components.

The refrigeration system also needs appropriate airflow.

Follow applicable installation and service guidance.

The machine should not block required exits, electrical panels, walkways, fire equipment, or other safety areas.

Electrical Planning

A refrigerated vending machine requires dependable electrical service.

Royal documentation for the 660 platform identifies 115 VAC, 60 Hz operation for applicable U.S. configurations.

Before installation, confirm that the location has a suitable outlet and electrical circuit for the exact machine being delivered.

Avoid assuming that any nearby outlet is automatically appropriate.

If you are uncertain about the electrical service, consult a qualified professional.

Keep the Machine Level

A vending machine should be installed on a stable surface and positioned correctly.

Proper placement can support reliable operation and make the machine easier for customers to use.

Check the machine after it is moved into its final location.

Do not leave it unstable or positioned where it can create a hazard.

Routine Cleaning

A clean vending machine creates a better impression.

Customers see the front of the machine before they see the products inside it.

Wipe exterior surfaces regularly.

Clean the selection area and delivery area.

Remove dust and debris.

Pay extra attention to machines in dusty industrial environments.

Interior cleaning should also be part of the normal service routine.

A few minutes of cleaning during each visit can help keep the machine presentable.

Check the Payment Systems During Every Service Visit

Do not focus only on filling drinks.

Check the payment systems too.

Test the coin mechanism when needed.

Inspect the bill validator.

If a cashless reader is installed, confirm that it is powered and operating normally.

A payment problem can stop sales even when every column is full.

Inspect the Refrigeration Area

Cold beverage machines rely on their refrigeration systems.

Keep the area around the refrigeration equipment free of excessive dirt and debris.

Make sure required ventilation is not blocked.

If the machine is not cooling correctly, investigate the issue instead of continuing to load warm product.

Service should be performed by someone familiar with commercial vending and refrigeration equipment when appropriate.

Rotate Beverage Inventory

Good inventory management also matters inside the machine.

When restocking, rotate products so older inventory sells before newer inventory whenever practical.

Check product dates.

Remove damaged packages.

Do not load leaking or badly dented containers.

Clean spills promptly.

These basic habits can help keep the machine cleaner and improve the customer experience.

Test New Products Before Filling a Column

Package dimensions vary.

Even two beverages with the same listed fluid volume may use different containers.

Before filling an entire column with a new product, confirm that the machine is correctly configured for that package.

Test-vend several items.

Make sure the product releases and reaches the delivery area correctly.

This small step can prevent avoidable service calls.

Why a High-Capacity Machine Can Help Route Efficiency

Route operators make money by servicing accounts efficiently.

Driving back to a location because one popular drink sold out early costs time and fuel.

A high-capacity machine gives the operator more room to match inventory to demand.

The twelve-column design can also help place additional inventory behind strong sellers.

This does not mean every location needs maximum capacity.

It means the operator has room to grow when demand is present.

Matching Machine Size to Account Volume

A vending machine should match the account.

A very low-volume location may not need a large beverage machine.

A busy location may quickly overwhelm a small machine.

Consider the number of people at the location, operating hours, work shifts, nearby food and beverage options, and expected customer traffic.

Then choose equipment that makes sense.

The Royal 660 is most attractive when a full-size commercial beverage machine and substantial capacity are useful.

Monster Energy Branding and Product Flexibility

The Monster Energy Chameleon graphics create a strong energy-drink theme.

The machine itself can still be used for a broader beverage mix when configured correctly.

Operators can use the available selections for products that fit the account.

That might include Monster Energy alongside soda, water, sports drinks, tea, and other beverages.

This gives you the visual impact of an energy-themed machine without requiring every selection to contain the same type of drink.

Creating an Energy Drink Focused Mix

In some locations, energy drinks may deserve a larger share of the machine.

Examples can include:

  • Warehouses
  • Factories
  • Late-shift workplaces
  • Automotive businesses
  • College environments
  • Recreation facilities

If energy drinks sell strongly, give them appropriate capacity.

If they do not, adjust the product mix.

The graphics attract attention, but sales data should determine what you stock.

Creating a General Beverage Mix

For a broad customer base, consider a more balanced approach.

You could dedicate selections to:

  • A leading regular cola
  • A zero-sugar or diet cola
  • A lemon-lime soda
  • A flavored soda
  • Bottled water
  • A sports drink
  • An energy drink
  • Tea, lemonade, or another local favorite

Then use sales data to refine the lineup.

Do Not Ignore Bottled Water

Water can be an important vending product.

Some operators focus heavily on soda and energy drinks while giving too little space to water.

Watch demand at the account.

In warehouses, recreation areas, and warm environments, bottled water may become one of the strongest sellers.

If that happens, give it enough capacity.

Use Sales Data Instead of Guesswork

Vending becomes easier to manage when decisions are based on actual sales.

Record what you load.

Record what remains at the next visit.

Look for trends.

Modern compatible telemetry and vending management tools may also help operators track activity when properly integrated.

The goal is to know what customers actually buy.

That information can guide stocking, pricing, and service frequency.

Reduce Sold-Out Selections

A sold-out selection is frustrating for customers.

It may also mean lost revenue.

The Royal 660's large capacity gives operators room to plan around strong demand.

If one product repeatedly sells out, increase its capacity when possible or shorten the service interval.

If the whole machine is selling down rapidly, the location may need more frequent service or additional vending equipment.

Keep Slow Sellers Under Control

A slow product uses space that could be assigned to something customers want more.

Do not keep weak sellers forever.

Give new products a reasonable test period.

If they continue to move slowly, replace them.

The goal is not to create the largest possible menu.

The goal is to create a useful menu that sells.

Seasonal Product Adjustments

Beverage demand can change during the year.

Water and sports drinks may become more important during warmer periods.

Other beverage preferences can change based on the location and customer base.

Review sales instead of assuming the same mix will perform equally well every month.

Keep the Front of the Machine Easy to Understand

Customers should be able to understand their choices quickly.

Use clear product labels and selection information.

Make sure prices are visible.

Replace damaged or badly faded labels.

A clean, understandable front makes the buying process easier.

Why Vending Machine Appearance Matters

Customers often judge equipment by appearance.

A dirty machine can create a poor impression even when it works correctly.

A clean machine with attractive graphics looks more inviting.

The Monster Energy Chameleon design gives the Royal 660 a distinctive appearance.

Keep that appearance working for you by cleaning the exterior during normal service.

Commercial Locations Need Dependable Equipment

A vending machine may operate for long periods without an employee standing beside it.

That is why routine inspection matters.

When servicing the Royal 660, take a few minutes to look beyond inventory.

Check for unusual sounds.

Check the temperature.

Check payment equipment.

Check the delivery area.

Test-vend products if needed.

Small problems are often easier to address before they become larger service issues.

Planning a New Vending Account

If you are installing the Royal Vendors 660 at a new account, gather information before deciding on the first product mix.

Ask useful questions.

  • How many people use the location?
  • How many shifts operate each day?
  • What are the normal break times?
  • Are drinks already sold nearby?
  • What beverage types are most requested?
  • Is bottled water important?
  • Are energy drinks popular?
  • Is cashless payment expected?
  • How often can the location be serviced?

The answers can help you create a better starting plan.

Start Simple

You do not need a complicated product strategy on day one.

Start with recognizable products.

Use a balanced mix.

Watch what sells.

Then improve the selection over time.

Vending is often an ongoing process of testing and adjustment.

Consider Cashless Payments for the Location

Because this Royal 660 is credit-card capable, operators can consider adding a compatible reader.

Whether that upgrade makes sense depends on the account.

A location where customers rarely carry cash may benefit from a cashless option.

Before installation, review the reader cost, processing structure, connectivity, and expected sales.

Remember that the reader itself is an additional item unless specifically included in your purchase.

Benefits for an Established Vending Route

Established vending operators may use the Royal 660 as a replacement machine or as equipment for a new account.

Its advantages include:

  • Large beverage capacity
  • Commercial construction
  • Eight selections
  • Twelve product columns
  • Multi-price operation
  • Coin acceptance
  • Bill acceptance
  • Credit-card-capable electronics

The Royal 660 provides a large commercial beverage platform with flexible product options.

Its capacity can support growth if a location develops stronger sales.

The multi-price feature also allows an operator to sell different beverage types at appropriate prices.

New operators should still learn basic machine setup, stocking, payment system maintenance, cleaning

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?

Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability

New vs Refurbished

We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.

According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.

Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:

  • Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
  • Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
  • Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700

(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)

As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.

Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.

Start small and grow as you can afford it.

Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.

All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.

Small mechanical machines have two main problems:

  • They don't make change or accept dollar bills
  • They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff

Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.

A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
