Royal Vendors RVV500 Dasani Glass-Front Beverage Vending Machine
The Royal Vendors RVV500 Dasani is a commercial refrigerated drink vending machine. Its large glass front lets customers see the products before they buy. A robotic elevator retrieves each selected drink and moves it to the delivery area. This system offers a different experience from machines that drop drinks into a lower bin.
This refurbished Royal Vision Vendor is designed for locations that want a broad beverage menu in one cabinet. Operators can offer cans, bottles, and selected energy drink packages. Actual fit depends on each package and shelf setup.

What Makes the RVV500 Different?
- Glass-front display: Customers can view the actual drinks.
- Robotic elevator: A retrieval platform brings the purchased item to the delivery area.
- 40 choices: Five shelves support eight selection positions each.
- Flexible pricing: Set prices by selection to match product costs.
- Multiple beverage styles: Build a mix of standard cans, bottles, and compatible smaller cans.
- Card-reader readiness: The machine can support a separately purchased compatible reader.
- Commercial cabinet: Built for unattended beverage sales at suitable locations.
How the Robotic Elevator Delivery System Works
After a customer chooses a drink and pays, the vending system sends its elevator to the selected shelf. The retrieval mechanism collects the product. It then moves the item to the customer delivery area. The machine uses an optic delivery sensor to help confirm a completed vend.
By carrying a product instead of allowing a long free fall, the system is designed to reduce rough handling. This may be especially useful for carbonated drinks. Product condition also depends on stocking, temperature, package type, and machine maintenance.
Credit Card Reader Compatibility
The RVV500 listing describes the machine as credit card capable. That does not mean a reader is installed or included in the sale. A compatible reader, any needed hardware, service plan, and installation may cost extra.
- Ask which reader models work with the exact machine configuration.
- Confirm the installed control electronics and payment harnesses.
- Ask whether a mounting bracket or other parts are needed.
- Confirm network coverage at the vending location.
- Check payment processing fees and service agreements.
- Arrange installation before delivery if that is important for your launch.
Product Sizes and Beverage Flexibility
The seller lists support for small 250 mL energy drink cans, 12 oz cans, and up to 20 oz bottles, with capacity varying by package size. Not every container will fit every position. Test each planned drink package before filling the entire shelf.
Measure package height, width, and shape. Review the vending setup and use the machine's instructions for loading. Test one vend from each selection after changing the product mix.

- Schools or campuses where permitted.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
