What Is the MEI CF7512?
The MEI CF7512 is a high-capacity coin mechanism designed for use in vending applications. It features an MDB interface and five payout tubes. The 5-5-10-25-25 configuration provides the mechanism with multiple coin storage and payout channels, making it suitable for vending machines that need to accept coins and provide change to customers.
For vending operators, a properly functioning coin mechanism is an important part of the payment system. When the mechanism develops a problem, repairing or exchanging the existing unit can help reduce equipment downtime and get a machine back into service without replacing the entire vending machine.
This Vending World service is specifically intended for customers who already have a compatible CF7512 unit and want to use the flat-rate repair/exchange program.
How the Flat-Rate Repair Process Works
Using the service is straightforward, but it is important to follow the required process. The first step is to send your existing CF7512 unit to Vending World. Vending World recommends tracking the shipment so you can confirm when the unit arrives.
Once Vending World has received your core unit, you may proceed with checkout through the product page. The replacement process does not begin before the original unit has been received.
Step 1: Send Your CF7512 Unit
Package your existing unit securely and ship it to:
VENDING WORLD
9055 RANCHO PARK CT.
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA 91730
Step 2: Track Your Shipment
Tracking your package is recommended. Shipment tracking allows you to verify delivery and know when Vending World has received your core unit.
Step 3: Complete Checkout
After your original CF7512 has been received, you can complete checkout on the website as instructed. Remember that the checkout represents the flat-rate repair/exchange service rather than the purchase of a separate coin mechanism.
Step 4: Receive Your Replacement
In most cases, Vending World provides a replacement unit of the same make and model rather than returning the exact unit you originally shipped. If a matching replacement is not available, Vending World may need to repair your original unit. Special-unit repairs can add approximately three to five days to the turnaround time.
Why Choose a Flat-Rate Repair?
Vending equipment repairs can sometimes be difficult to budget when labor and parts are charged separately. A flat-rate service provides a simpler approach. The listed service price covers the applicable parts and labor associated with the flat-rate repair program, helping you understand the expected service cost before proceeding.
For vending operators managing multiple machines, predictable repair costs can make equipment maintenance easier to plan. Instead of automatically replacing a complete vending machine because of a coin mechanism problem, operators can use an appropriate repair or exchange service for the affected component.
Transparent Repair Pricing
The CF7512 flat-rate repair listing is currently shown at $149.00. The purpose of the flat-rate structure is to provide an all-inclusive service price for the applicable repair or exchange. This can help reduce uncertainty compared with repair arrangements where additional parts and labor charges are added after an initial inspection.
Customers should carefully read the service requirements before ordering because this product page is not intended for customers who simply want to purchase a CF7512 without sending in a core unit.
Replacement Unit Information
When the flat-rate service is completed, the replacement will generally be the same make and model as the unit submitted. The exact physical unit returned or supplied may differ from the one originally sent. This exchange approach allows Vending World to provide a refurbished replacement while keeping the service focused on the same equipment type.
If Vending World receives a unique CF7512 configuration for which a replacement is not available in inventory, the company may repair the customer's original unit instead. This situation may require additional processing time.
Important Damage Restrictions
Before shipping your unit, inspect it carefully. Vending World's repair policy states that units that have been salted, burned, water damaged, or vandalized are not accepted for repair through this service. Customers with equipment affected by these conditions should not send the damaged unit for this flat-rate repair program.
If a unit is beyond repair, Vending World also offers refurbished vending equipment and components for outright purchase. This provides another option when a repair or exchange is not appropriate.
90-Day Limited Warranty
Vending World states that refurbished replacement units are backed by a 90-day limited warranty. This provides additional assurance for customers using refurbished equipment as part of their vending operation. Warranty terms and coverage should be reviewed before installation and use.
A refurbished replacement can be a practical option for operators who want to restore a vending machine to working order while avoiding the cost of replacing the entire machine.
Designed for Vending Operators
The MEI CF7512 flat-rate repair service is useful for vending operators, route owners, technicians, and businesses maintaining commercial vending equipment. A malfunctioning coin mechanism can interfere with normal customer transactions, so having a repair and exchange option can help simplify equipment maintenance.
The CF7512's MDB interface is another important specification. MDB, or Multi-Drop Bus, is widely used for communication between vending payment components. Because vending machines can contain several payment and control devices, using the appropriate compatible mechanism is essential.
Before sending a unit, verify that your existing equipment matches the CF7512 model, six-pin connection, and applicable configuration. Matching the replacement to your existing vending equipment helps avoid compatibility issues during installation.

Ideal for Commercial Vending Equipment
The CF7512 repair service is intended for customers who want to maintain existing vending equipment rather than replace an entire machine. Coin mechanisms are a key part of the payment system, and restoring the correct component can help operators return a machine to service more efficiently.
Whether you operate a single vending machine or maintain equipment across multiple locations, having a clear repair process can make routine maintenance easier. The Vending World flat-rate program provides a defined process for submitting the core, completing checkout after receipt, and receiving a compatible refurbished replacement or repaired unit.
Order the MEI CF7512 Flat Rate Repair Service
If you have a Mars/MEI CF7512 five-tube coin mechanism that requires service, review all requirements before ordering. This listing is specifically for the flat-rate repair/exchange program and is not a stand-alone sale of a CF7512 coin mechanism.
Send your qualifying core unit to Vending World, track the shipment, and wait until the unit has been received before completing checkout. Following these steps helps ensure that the repair or exchange process can move forward correctly.
The MEI CF7512 Flat Rate Repair Service combines a defined service price, same-model replacement approach, and refurbished equipment support for vending operators who need to keep their payment systems functioning. With its six-pin MDB design, high-capacity configuration, and five payout tubes arranged as 5-5-10-25-25, the CF7512 is a specialized component that should be matched carefully to the vending equipment where it will be installed.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
