High-Capacity Commercial Beverage Vending
The Royal Vendors 660 is designed for commercial beverage vending. Its large capacity gives operators room to stock many drinks in one machine.
The listed capacity is more than 660 12 oz cans. The machine is also listed with a capacity of more than 300 20 oz bottles when configured for that beverage format. This gives operators flexibility when planning their product mix.
A larger machine can be useful in a busy location. It can hold more inventory before the next service visit. This may help operators manage route stops more efficiently.
Actual sales and refill needs will vary. A busy warehouse may need frequent service. A smaller office may need fewer visits. Operators should monitor sales after installation and adjust product quantities based on real demand.
Coca-Cola Zero Wavefront Chameleon Design
The Coca-Cola Zero Wavefront Chameleon design gives this Royal Vendors 660 a strong beverage-focused appearance. The branded presentation can help the machine stand out in a customer-facing area.
Visual presentation matters in vending. Customers need to notice the machine before they can make a purchase. A recognizable beverage design can help create a clear vending point within a busy location.
The machine can be used in many settings where branded cold drink equipment is appropriate.
- Office buildings
- Warehouses
- Factories
- Manufacturing facilities
- Apartment communities
- Hotels
- Employee break rooms
- Recreation centers
- Retail locations
- Commercial buildings
- Transportation areas
- Entertainment locations
- Other suitable vending locations
8 Selections and 12 Columns
The Royal Vendors 660 is listed with 8 selections and 12 columns. This configuration gives operators room to offer several beverage choices.
A strong product mix can make a difference in vending performance. Customers may have different preferences. Some may want a regular soft drink. Others may want a zero-sugar beverage, water, or another cold drink.
The machine's multiple columns allow operators to plan inventory by selection. Popular products can receive more space. Slower products can receive less space.
This approach helps operators make better use of the machine. Product placement can be adjusted as sales data becomes available.
660+ 12 oz Can Capacity
The listed capacity for this Royal Vendors 660 is more than 660 12 oz cans.
This is a substantial amount of beverage inventory. It makes the machine suitable for locations where canned drinks are popular.
Large capacity can also help reduce the number of refill trips. Instead of visiting a small machine several times, an operator may be able to stock a larger machine with more products at once.
However, capacity is not the same as guaranteed sales. Operators should choose a machine based on the needs of the location.
300+ 20 oz Bottle Capacity
The product listing also states a capacity of more than 300 20 oz bottles.
Twenty-ounce bottles can be useful in locations where customers prefer resealable drinks. Bottles can also give an operator another product format to offer.
The machine includes a configuration option related to converting from 12 oz cans to 20 oz bottles. Buyers should select the correct configuration for the products they plan to sell.
Before ordering, confirm the desired bottle configuration and make sure it matches the inventory you plan to carry.
Multi-Price Vending
The Royal Vendors 660 is listed as multi-price capable. This allows different selections to be assigned different prices.
Multi-price operation can be useful when products have different wholesale costs or different retail prices.
For example, an operator may choose one price for a standard canned beverage and another price for a premium product. The exact pricing strategy depends on the location, product cost, competition, and customer demand.
Operators should review prices regularly. Product costs and market conditions can change over time.
Coin Acceptance
The machine accepts coins. Coin payment remains useful in many vending locations.
Customers who carry change can use the machine without needing a card or mobile payment method.
The base configuration is also listed with $1 bill acceptance. This provides another traditional payment option.
$1 Bill Acceptance
The Royal Vendors 660 is listed as accepting $1 bills.
Bill acceptance can make vending more convenient for customers who do not have coins available.
Operators should keep the bill validator clean and maintained. Payment equipment is an important part of the vending experience. A product machine can lose sales if customers cannot complete a payment.
Optional $5 Bill and High-Capacity Coin Mechanism
Vending World lists an optional upgrade for $5 bill acceptance and a high-capacity coin mechanism. The current product page lists this upgrade at an additional cost.
This option may be useful for locations where customers frequently use larger bills.
A high-capacity coin mechanism can also help when the machine handles a large number of transactions. More change capacity may reduce the need for frequent coin servicing.
The right payment configuration depends on your location. Consider the average product price, customer habits, and expected sales volume before choosing an upgrade.
Credit Card Reader Capable
The Royal Vendors 660 is listed as credit-card capable. This point is important because the machine does not automatically include a credit card reader.
The listing explains that the machine's electronics are new enough to accept a compatible credit card reader. The base machine does not include the reader.
Vending World lists an optional E-Port credit card reader. The current listing shows choices for customers who want to install the reader themselves or have an outside technician install it.
Installation costs from an independent technician are separate when applicable.
Credit Card Reader Important Note
- The base machine does not include a credit card reader.
- The machine is electronics-ready for a compatible reader.
- An E-Port reader is listed as an optional purchase.
- Self-installation is available as an option.
- Outside technician installation is also offered as an option.
- Installation charges may be separate.
Always confirm the exact payment configuration before completing your order.
Cashless Vending Considerations
Cashless payment is now an important consideration for many vending operators. Customers may prefer to pay with a card or another electronic payment method.
The Royal Vendors 660 provides a platform that can support an added credit card reader.
Before selecting a cashless system, operators should review the reader's compatibility, processing requirements, network connection, transaction fees, service terms, and installation needs.
Cashless payment does not replace the need for proper machine maintenance. The payment system and vending machine should both be checked regularly.
DEX Protocol
The Royal Vendors 660 is listed with DEX protocol.
DEX is used in vending operations to exchange machine data. Operators with multiple machines may use DEX-compatible systems to help manage vending information.
Electronic data can support better record keeping. Depending on the operator's software and hardware, data may help track machine activity and sales information.
DEX can be especially useful as a vending route grows. Managing many machines manually can take more time.
Operators should confirm compatibility with their current vending management system before planning a specific DEX workflow.
Why Choose a Refurbished Royal Vendors 660?
This machine is sold as a refurbished vending machine. Refurbished equipment can provide a way to obtain full-size commercial vending equipment at a lower initial equipment cost than comparable new equipment.
Vending World states that it focuses on refurbished vending equipment and explains its preference for refurbished commercial machines over new equipment. The company also states that all machines it sells are full-size commercial machines.
For a new vending operator, equipment cost can be a major consideration. A refurbished machine can allow an operator to allocate more of the starting budget toward inventory, transportation, location development, repairs, payment equipment, and other operating needs.
Buyers should still review the condition, specifications, warranty, and configuration of the individual machine before purchasing.
Commercial-Grade Machine Format
The Royal Vendors 660 is a full-size commercial vending machine.
Commercial machines are designed for regular vending use. They are different from small countertop machines and simple mechanical vending units.
The larger format provides substantially more product capacity. It also supports commercial payment equipment and multiple product selections.
This makes the Royal Vendors 660 suitable for operators who need more than a small vending solution.
Built for Route-Based Vending
A commercial beverage machine can be useful for operators who service multiple locations.
The Royal Vendors 660 can hold a large amount of product. That can make it easier to plan inventory around route visits.
Operators can track sales and adjust product quantities over time. High-selling products can receive more inventory. Slow-moving products can be reduced or replaced.
Route efficiency depends on many factors. Location quality, sales volume, travel distance, inventory management, machine reliability, and service procedures all matter.
Good Locations for the Royal Vendors 660
The right location is one of the most important parts of vending. A large machine needs enough customer traffic and beverage demand to justify its size.
Potential locations include:
- Large workplaces
- Manufacturing plants
- Warehouses
- Distribution centers
- Apartment complexes
- Hotels
- Large office buildings
- Recreation centers
- Auto service facilities
- Commercial facilities
- Retail environments
- Entertainment facilities
- Employee break areas
Always obtain permission before installing a vending machine on private property.
Office Vending Applications
Offices can use beverage vending machines to provide convenient drinks for employees and visitors.
The Royal Vendors 660 can offer multiple selections from one machine. This can be useful in larger office environments.
Operators can choose products based on employee preferences and actual sales. The machine's multi-price capability also allows different products to have different prices.
Warehouse and Manufacturing Applications
Warehouses and manufacturing facilities can have large numbers of employees working throughout the day.
A high-capacity beverage machine can provide convenient access to cold drinks without requiring employees to leave the property.
The Royal Vendors 660's large product capacity can be helpful in these environments. Operators can stock more drinks and monitor which selections sell most often.
Apartment Community Applications
Apartment communities may also use beverage vending machines in common areas.
Possible placement areas include community rooms, recreation spaces, laundry areas, or other approved locations.
Before installation, operators should confirm property management approval, electrical requirements, security, and access for servicing.
Hotel Applications
Hotels can use vending machines to provide beverages to guests and staff.
A branded beverage machine can create a visible self-service option in an appropriate common area.
Operators should consider guest traffic, machine visibility, security, and hours of access when evaluating a hotel location.
Product Mix Planning
Choosing the right beverages is just as important as choosing the machine.
Start with products that match the people using the location.
- Identify the most common customer preferences.
- Stock popular beverage categories.
- Watch sales by selection.
- Increase space for fast-moving products.
- Reduce slow-moving inventory.
- Keep products properly rotated.
- Check expiration dates where applicable.
A good product mix can help make better use of the machine's available columns.
Planning Your Vending Prices
Pricing should account for product cost, location expectations, competition, service costs, payment fees, and the desired operating margin.
The Royal Vendors 660 supports multi-price operation. That gives operators flexibility when setting different prices for different products.
Review pricing regularly. Costs can change. Customer expectations can also change.
Machine Dimensions
The Royal Vendors 660 is approximately 72 inches high, 37.5 inches wide, and 34.5 inches deep.
These dimensions should be measured against the planned installation area before purchase.
Do not measure only the final floor space. Also measure the route into the building.
Check door widths. Check hallways. Check corners. Check ramps and elevators. Make sure the delivery path can accommodate a large commercial vending machine.
Machine Weight
The listed weight is approximately 640 pounds.
This is heavy commercial equipment. Proper moving equipment and trained personnel should be used when transporting and positioning the machine.
Do not attempt to move the machine using unsafe lifting methods.
Plan delivery before the machine arrives. This can reduce delays and prevent damage to the equipment or building.
Delivery Planning Checklist
- Measure the installation area.
- Measure entry doors.
- Check hallway widths.
- Check elevators if needed.
- Review stairs and ramps.
- Confirm freight delivery access.
- Arrange suitable moving equipment.
- Have qualified people available for placement.
- Confirm electrical access.
- Leave room for machine service.
Electrical and Installation Planning
Before installing a cold drink vending machine, confirm that the location has an appropriate electrical supply.
The machine should be placed where it can be serviced safely. Do not block service doors or place the machine where normal maintenance would be difficult.
Leave enough room around the machine for operators and service personnel to work.
LED Lighting Upgrade
The current listing provides an optional LED lighting upgrade. The listed option replaces fluorescent bulbs with LED bulbs for an additional charge.
LED lighting can give a vending machine a clean and updated appearance.
It can also be a useful upgrade for operators who prefer LED lighting in their equipment.
Consider the upgrade based on the machine's intended location and your maintenance preferences.
Easy-to-Read Product Presentation
A vending machine should make product choices easy to understand.
Clear product labels can help customers quickly identify their preferred beverage.
Operators should keep selection labels accurate. If a product changes, update the label or selection information as needed.
Clean presentation also matters. A clean machine creates a better customer experience and makes products easier to see.
Keeping the Machine Clean
Routine cleaning is an important part of vending machine care.
- Clean the exterior regularly.
- Keep the selection area clean.
- Remove spills quickly.
- Clean payment areas as appropriate.
- Inspect product compartments.
- Keep the area around the machine clean.
- Check for signs of damage.
A clean machine is easier for customers to use and easier for operators to inspect.
Routine Vending Machine Maintenance
Regular maintenance can help keep a vending machine operating properly.
Operators should follow the manufacturer's service guidance and use qualified technicians when repairs require specialized knowledge.
Maintenance can include checking payment equipment, cooling performance, product dispensing, lighting, electrical components, door seals, and other machine systems.
Keep service records. Good records can help identify repeated problems and support better route planning.
Inspect the Machine After Delivery
Inspect refurbished equipment when it arrives.
Check the exterior. Check the door. Check the selections. Check the payment system. Check the cooling system. Check the lighting and other visible components.
If you notice a problem, document it and follow the seller's warranty or service process.
Vending World currently states that refurbished vending machines include a 90-day limited parts warranty. Buyers should review the complete warranty terms before ordering.
90-Day Limited Parts Warranty
Vending World lists a 90-day limited parts warranty for refurbished vending machines.
A warranty can provide useful coverage for qualifying parts issues after delivery. However, buyers should read the complete warranty terms before purchasing.
Warranty coverage may have specific conditions, exclusions, and service procedures.
Refurbished Equipment and Value
Refurbished equipment can be a practical option for operators who want commercial equipment without the cost of new equipment.
Vending World explains that it focuses on refurbished commercial vending equipment and states that its machines are full-size commercial machines.
The company also states that it has operated online since 1998 and describes itself as a major seller of refurbished and used vending equipment in California. These are company claims presented on its website.
When buying refurbished equipment, buyers should focus on the actual machine configuration and condition. Review the specifications. Review the warranty. Confirm optional equipment. Confirm shipping details.
Why Machine Capacity Matters
Capacity affects how often a machine needs to be restocked.
A machine with more product space can hold more inventory. This can be helpful at high-traffic locations.
The Royal Vendors 660 is listed with more than 660 12 oz cans or more than 300 20 oz bottles, depending on configuration.
Operators should not assume that maximum capacity equals expected sales. Actual demand depends on the location.
Why Selection Count Matters
Eight selections provide room for a varied beverage menu.
Different selections can be assigned different products. Operators can use sales data to decide how much inventory each selection should receive.
Product selection should be based on customer demand rather than personal preference alone.
Benefits for High-Traffic Locations
High-traffic locations may need more beverage inventory.
The Royal Vendors 660 can hold a large amount of product. This makes it worth considering for locations where smaller machines would require frequent refilling.
Operators should estimate expected demand before choosing a machine. A large machine may be unnecessary for a low-volume location.
Benefits for Growing Vending Routes
As a vending route grows, operators often need reliable equipment with commercial capacity.
The Royal Vendors 660 can serve as a large beverage machine within a route.
Its DEX capability may also fit into an operator's broader machine data strategy.
Operators should confirm that their existing route management tools support the machine's data features.
Refill Planning
Refilling should be based on sales data.
Start by tracking each selection. Record how many products are loaded and how many remain during service.
After several service visits, you can identify fast-moving and slow-moving products.
Use that information to improve the product mix.
Inventory Rotation
Cold beverage inventory should be managed carefully.
Operators should use appropriate stock rotation practices. Older products should generally be placed where they will be sold first, when applicable.
Check dates and packaging during each service visit.
Customer Experience
A vending machine is more than a box that stores products.
Customers expect a simple buying process.
The machine should be clean. Product labels should be clear. Prices should be visible. Payment equipment should work. Products should dispense correctly.
These basic details can have a major effect on the customer's experience.
Payment Flexibility
The Royal Vendors 660 provides several payment configuration options.
- Coin acceptance
- $1 bill acceptance
- Optional $5 bill acceptance
- High-capacity coin mechanism option
- Optional E-Port credit card reader
This flexibility lets operators choose equipment based on the location's needs.
Choosing Cash and Cashless Options
Some locations may work well with traditional cash payment. Others may benefit from cashless payment.
Consider the people who use the machine. Consider product prices. Consider the availability of mobile or card payments in the location.
If you need cashless payment, remember that the reader is an optional item rather than a standard feature of the base machine.
Commercial Vending Machine for Business Locations
The Royal Vendors 660 is designed for commercial use. Its full-size design and large capacity make it appropriate for many business environments.
Businesses can use vending to offer convenient beverage access without operating a staffed drink counter.
Operators can service the machine on a planned schedule and adjust inventory based on sales.
Warehouse Beverage Service
Warehouses often have employees working long shifts. Convenient beverage access can be useful in these settings.
A large machine can support a broad beverage inventory.
Before installing one, evaluate traffic patterns and employee access. The machine should be placed in a safe and convenient area.
Factory Beverage Service
Manufacturing facilities may also benefit from a large cold drink vending machine.
The Royal Vendors 660 can provide a central location for beverages.
Operators should coordinate installation with the facility manager and follow all site rules.
Office Beverage Service
For offices, a beverage machine can provide drinks for employees and visitors.
The eight-selection configuration provides room for a variety of products.
Operators can monitor sales and adjust the mix over time.
Hotel Beverage Service
Hotels can place beverage machines in suitable guest-access areas.
A branded cold drink machine can be easy for guests to recognize.
Hotel operators should consider location, visibility, access, security, cleaning, and service requirements.
Apartment Beverage Service
Apartment communities can provide vending in approved shared areas.
The machine can be useful where residents want convenient access to cold beverages without leaving the property.
Property managers should approve the installation and determine the appropriate location.
Machine Security
Place the machine in a secure location whenever possible.
Payment equipment and cash storage make security an important consideration.
Operators should evaluate lighting, camera coverage, access controls, and the general security of the installation area.
Planning for Service Access
Do not install the machine in a space that makes service difficult.
Technicians need access to the machine's service areas. Operators also need enough room to restock products.
Good placement can make routine service faster and safer.

If your location requires cashless payment, select the appropriate reader option before checkout.
If an outside technician is used, installation costs are separate according to the product listing.
Why Capacity Can Reduce Service Trips
Every vending service visit takes time. The operator must travel to the location, open the machine, restock products, collect money, inspect the machine, and complete any needed maintenance.
A larger machine can hold more inventory per visit.
The Royal Vendors 660's listed capacity of 660+ cans makes it suitable for locations that need substantial beverage inventory.
Operators should still use sales data to determine how often the machine needs service.
Route Management
Good route management starts with accurate information.
Track sales. Track refill quantities. Track service time. Track repairs. Track payment issues.
The Royal Vendors 660's DEX capability may support electronic data collection when used with compatible systems.
Always confirm the exact compatibility of your software and telemetry equipment.
Customer Demand and Product Selection
The best product mix is location-specific.
A warehouse may have different beverage demand than an office. A hotel may have different preferences than an apartment community.
Use the first few weeks of sales to learn what customers actually buy.
Then adjust the machine.
Improving Product Visibility
Product visibility is important in vending.
Make sure product labels are easy to read. Keep the machine clean. Replace damaged labels when needed.
The Coca-Cola Zero Wavefront Chameleon design provides a strong branded presentation that can make the machine easy to identify.
Vending Machine Placement Tips
- Choose a visible location.
- Place the machine near customer traffic.
- Provide safe customer access.
- Keep the area clean.
- Keep service areas accessible.
- Avoid blocking exits or walkways.
- Confirm electrical access.
- Consider security.
- Make restocking practical.
Preparing for a New Vending Location
Before signing an installation agreement, inspect the site.
Look at customer traffic. Look at available floor space. Look at electrical access. Look at security. Look at delivery access.
Ask the property owner about operating rules and service access.
A good machine still needs a suitable location.
Vending Machine Operating Costs
Equipment cost is only one part of operating a vending route.
Operators should also consider:
- Product inventory
- Transportation
- Electricity
- Payment processing
- Repairs
- Cleaning supplies
- Insurance
- Location commissions where applicable
- Technician costs
- Cash collection
- Machine moving costs
Review these expenses when planning the economics of a vending location.
Refurbished Equipment and Startup Planning
A refurbished machine can be one part of a broader startup strategy.
Operators may prefer to use available funds across equipment, inventory, location development, payment technology, transportation, and operating reserves.
The right balance depends on the individual business plan and location.
Royal Vendors 660 for Experienced Operators
Experienced vending operators may value the machine's commercial capacity and flexible configuration.
The 8-selection, 12-column setup gives room for a varied beverage mix.
DEX capability can also fit into established vending data systems.
Optional payment upgrades provide additional flexibility.
Royal Vendors 660 for New Operators
New operators should learn the basics of vending before installing equipment.
Understand product costs. Understand route expenses. Understand payment processing. Understand machine maintenance.
Most importantly, evaluate the location before buying equipment.
A strong location can be more important than having the newest machine.
Common Buying Mistakes to Avoid
- Buying a machine without measuring the location.
- Forgetting to measure doors and hallways.
- Assuming a credit card reader is included.
- Ignoring delivery requirements.
- Choosing products without studying customer demand.
- Failing to plan service access.
- Ignoring payment processing costs.
- Not reviewing warranty terms.
- Not confirming the desired can or bottle configuration.
- Installing a large machine in a low-demand location.
How to Choose the Right Beverage Configuration
Start with your customers.
If customers prefer cans, the 12 oz configuration may be appropriate. If customers prefer resealable bottles, review the 20 oz bottle configuration.
Consider product availability as well. You need a reliable source for the beverages you plan to stock.
Can Vending Configuration
The 12 oz can configuration provides the machine's largest listed capacity.
With more than 660 listed cans, this setup can provide substantial inventory space.
It may be suitable for locations where canned beverages move quickly.
Bottle Vending Configuration
The 20 oz bottle configuration provides room for more than 300 listed bottles.
This format may be useful where customers prefer resealable drinks.
Confirm the correct configuration before purchase.

Why a Full-Size Beverage Machine Can Matter
Small machines can require frequent restocking.
A full-size commercial machine can hold much more product.
The Royal Vendors 660 is designed around that larger commercial format.
For a location with strong beverage demand, additional capacity can make route service more efficient.
For a low-demand location, a smaller machine may be more appropriate. Operators should match the machine to the location.
Professional Beverage Vending Appearance
The Coca-Cola Zero Wavefront Chameleon presentation gives the machine a professional beverage-focused appearance.
This can make the vending machine easier to identify in a commercial environment.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
