Gatorade Orange HVV 20 oz Bottle Flavor Strip for Beverage Vending Machines
Make your drink selection easy to see. This Gatorade Orange HVV flavor strip shows the Orange bottle in a bottle-on-ice presentation. It is designed for the large display areas used on compatible Pepsi High Visibility Vendor (HVV) beverage machines. The artwork helps customers spot the Orange choice before they press a selection button.
This is a replacement display strip, not a beverage or a vending machine. It is a simple way to refresh a worn, faded, missing, or incorrect product image on a compatible machine front. The listing describes the strip as a new part and identifies the manufacturer as NBS.

Why Replace an Old Flavor Strip?
A customer should be able to identify a drink without guessing. A clear flavor strip supports that goal. It shows what belongs in the selection column and helps staff keep the machine's outside display aligned with the drinks inside.
- Replace an image that has faded from age or light exposure.
- Correct a label that shows a different drink.
- Fill an empty display window after a route change.
- Refresh the appearance of a serviced or refurbished machine.
- Make the Orange selection easier to recognize.
- Keep similar-looking beverage selections clearly labeled.
Good labeling does not repair a vending problem or guarantee more sales. It does help reduce avoidable confusion at the point of purchase. The best result comes from a clean display, the correct drink in the column, accurate price information, and a working vending mechanism.
What the HVV Format Means
HVV stands for High Visibility Vendor. This style uses larger product artwork on the machine front. The larger panel gives the drink image more room than a small selection label. Pepsi HVV machines may use the DB95 display format. The product page describes that format as 5.3 inches wide by 7.2 inches high.
The term HVV describes a display style. It does not mean that all Pepsi machines accept the same strip. Some beverage machines use smaller bottle strips, can strips, long strips, or other display formats. Even machines from the same maker may have different fronts. Always compare the physical opening and the existing label.
Visual Guide: Confirm the Strip Before Ordering
- Look at the artwork: Confirm that the label says Gatorade Orange and depicts a 20 oz bottle.
- Check the format: Compare the large HVV-style layout with the old display.
- Measure the insert: Check both width and height. Measure the insert itself when possible, not just the outer window.
- Check the holder: Note whether the panel uses a sleeve, frame, or another retention method.
- Confirm the beverage: Make sure the column is stocked with the drink shown on the label.
- Check calorie details: Verify that the printed information is suitable for the product you currently sell and any rules that apply to your business.
Suggested image placement: Place the actual product photo above this section. Add a second photo showing the insert next to a ruler. A third photo can show the strip installed in a compatible HVV panel. Use only real product and machine images; do not substitute a generic bottle photo for the actual strip.
Clear Drink Identification
A large, easy-to-read display helps customers identify Gatorade Orange before making a selection. Keep the label close to the correct selection control and make sure the machine is stocked with the matching beverage.
What to check
Inspect the strip from the normal customer viewing distance. Look for glare, blocked text, and a label that sits off-center.
- Confirm the selection is Gatorade Orange in a 20 oz bottle.
- Compare the current insert with the large HVV display format.
- Check that the artwork remains easy to read through the window.
- Keep the product image aligned with the correct selection.
A Fresh Look for Older Machines
An older vending machine can look more cared for when its display windows are clean and its product images are current. Replacing a damaged strip is one small part of a larger cleanup.
What to check
Clean the surrounding panel and remove old tape residue where safe. Avoid harsh cleaners that could damage clear plastic.
- Confirm the selection is Gatorade Orange in a 20 oz bottle.
- Compare the current insert with the large HVV display format.

- Keep the product image aligned with the correct selection.
Useful for Route Operators
Operators may change drink selections as demand shifts. When the selection changes to Gatorade Orange, the outside display should change too.
What to check
Record which machine and column received the new label. This helps during later route visits.

- Compare the current insert with the large HVV display format.
- Check that the artwork remains easy to read through the window.

- Compare the current insert with the large HVV display format.

Display Troubleshooting: Common Situations
These examples help separate a label problem from a machine problem. The strip changes the visual display only.
Situation 1: The strip slides inside the holder
Check that the correct insert size and retention method are being used. Do not use improvised adhesive without checking the panel design.
Start with a visual check of the existing insert and the display holder. Then verify the stocked beverage. If the issue involves electrical parts, vending controls, or access to the cabinet, follow the machine manual and use qualified help when appropriate.
- Identify whether the problem is the image, holder, or machine.
- Confirm the part dimensions before making changes.
- Retest the display from the customer side.
Situation 2: The image looks too small
Compare the insert dimensions with the original. A smaller strip may belong to a different display family.

- Identify whether the problem is the image, holder, or machine.
- Confirm the part dimensions before making changes.
- Retest the display from the customer side.
Situation 5: The customer receives the wrong flavor
Check stocking and selection mapping. A flavor strip cannot correct a machine setup error.
Start with a visual check of the existing insert and the display holder. Then verify the stocked beverage. If the issue involves electrical parts, vending controls, or access to the cabinet, follow the machine manual and use qualified help when appropriate.
- Identify whether the problem is the image, holder, or machine.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
