Why Clear Drink Labels Matter
A vending machine can hold several types of drinks. A customer should not have to guess which selection button leads to a favorite bottle. A visible flavor strip links the button area with the drink inside. It also helps the front of the machine look complete.
Recognizable Root Beer Artwork
The bottle-on-ice design gives the selection a familiar drink display. Customers can spot root beer among cola, water, tea, and sports drinks without opening the machine.
What the customer sees: recognizable root beer artwork
The display is meant to help a person connect a visible selection with a specific drink. A simple picture can make that choice more direct. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
What the operator should check: recognizable root beer artwork
Compare the existing strip, the selection position, and the bottle stocked behind it. These checks matter more than the appearance of the machine from a distance. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
Where the benefit appears: recognizable root beer artwork
The main value is at the front of the vendor, where a buyer scans the available choices. A readable panel can make the machine easier to use. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
How it fits routine upkeep: recognizable root beer artwork
A quick visual review of each selection can reveal missing, mismatched, or damaged artwork. Replacing the correct insert can restore a more consistent display. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
Why the size matters: recognizable root beer artwork
Large HVV artwork does not automatically fit smaller windows. The best match is the same format and orientation as the strip already installed. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
What this part does not change: recognizable root beer artwork
Replacing the strip will not change prices, refrigeration, product capacity, or the way bottles are delivered. Those functions are handled by other machine parts. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
Why accuracy comes first: recognizable root beer artwork
A customer expects the button label to describe the drink received. Correct branding, bottle size, and calorie details help keep that expectation clear. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
How it works with other labels: recognizable root beer artwork
A root beer selection is easier to find when every neighboring drink also has a clear and correct label. The full lineup matters, not just one window. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Made for High-Visibility Fronts
Pepsi HVV fronts use larger display spaces than many small can-label windows. The larger artwork can be easier to notice from a short distance. Check the display opening before ordering.

A Neater Selection Area
Missing or worn inserts can leave a machine looking unfinished. Replacing one with a clean, matching strip can make the row of beverage choices look more orderly.

Useful for Route Refreshes
When a route changes its beverage mix, the display should change too. An A+W label can help bring the front of a machine into line with the new inventory.

Suitable for Mixed Beverage Menus
Root beer may sit beside lemon-lime soda, cola, energy drinks, or bottled water. Consistent display formats can make a varied menu easier to scan.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Supports an Honest Product Display
The image is a product identifier, not a promise about stock. Check that the assigned selection contains the bottle shown before putting the machine back into service.
Focus on the Selection Window
This part is a printed display insert. It is not a drink, a button, a vending motor, or a control board. Its role is to show customers what the selection offers.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Check the HVV Format
The listing describes an HVV style strip. Not every Pepsi-branded machine uses the same display. Match the physical dimensions and window style to the existing insert.
A Practical Replacement Part
A new strip is a straightforward way to replace artwork that has become scratched, faded, bent, or hard to read. The correct fit matters as much as the design.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Calories on the Artwork
The listing states that calorie information is printed on the strip. Verify the printed figure against the drink you currently sell, since beverage packaging and formulas may change.
Useful in Shared Spaces
Office break rooms, workshops, recreation sites, and other shared areas often serve customers with different drink tastes. Clear labels can help each person find a preferred choice.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Keep the Front Consistent
When nearby selections use the same HVV format, a matching A+W strip can help the machine maintain a unified look. Different formats may appear uneven in one display.
Plan Before Changing Selections
Before changing the product menu, confirm the machine can vend the intended bottle. The flavor strip only changes the display. It does not alter the machine setup.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Designed for a Bottle Selection
The printed bottle image signals a 20 oz package. Do not use it to label a 12 oz can or another package when that would mislead a customer.

Small Part, Visible Role

A Clearer Beverage Lineup
Distinct artwork helps separate root beer from similar dark-colored drinks. That distinction is useful when several selections sit close together.

For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
What this part does not change: a clearer beverage lineup
Replacing the strip will not change prices, refrigeration, product capacity, or the way bottles are delivered. Those functions are handled by other machine parts. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
Why accuracy comes first: a clearer beverage lineup
A customer expects the button label to describe the drink received. Correct branding, bottle size, and calorie details help keep that expectation clear. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
How it works with other labels: a clearer beverage lineup
A root beer selection is easier to find when every neighboring drink also has a clear and correct label. The full lineup matters, not just one window. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
- Confirm the bottle type before labeling the selection.
- Compare the old insert with the HVV display opening.
- Keep the artwork clean and easy to see.
- Review the label when the stocked drink changes.
Keep Product Information Current
Review labels whenever drink sizes, recipes, or stocked brands change. A clean label is only helpful when the printed details match the actual beverage.
What the customer sees: keep product information current
The display is meant to help a person connect a visible selection with a specific drink. A simple picture can make that choice more direct. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
What the operator should check: keep product information current
Compare the existing strip, the selection position, and the bottle stocked behind it. These checks matter more than the appearance of the machine from a distance. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
Where the benefit appears: keep product information current
The main value is at the front of the vendor, where a buyer scans the available choices. A readable panel can make the machine easier to use. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.
How it fits routine upkeep: keep product information current
A quick visual review of each selection can reveal missing, mismatched, or damaged artwork. Replacing the correct insert can restore a more consistent display. For the A+W 20 oz bottle selection, keep the brand artwork, the assigned button, and the actual product in agreement. This is especially important when a machine has been moved, restocked, or given a new beverage menu.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
