A well-organized vending machine is easier for customers to use. Clear product identification can also make the selection process faster. This Diet Dr Pepper flavor strip adds a recognizable beverage name and visual presentation to the front of your vending machine.
The product is listed by Vending World as a new part with SKU FSHVVDDRP12OZ. It is categorized as an HVV-style flavor strip and features Diet Dr Pepper, a can-on-ice presentation, and calorie information.
Professional Product Identification for Vending Machines
Flavor strips are an important part of beverage vending machine merchandising. They give customers a quick visual reference before they make a purchase. Instead of trying to identify a product from a small or worn label, customers can look at the flavor strip and see the beverage selection at a glance.
The Diet Dr Pepper HVV 12 oz Can Flavor Strip is made for the larger HVV-style presentation. The product page identifies this format as the DB95 size, measuring approximately 5.3 inches wide by 7.2 inches high. Vending World states that this size is intended for Pepsi HVV front machines, including compatible Royal and Dixie Narco models.
This larger format provides plenty of space for strong product identification. It is especially useful when you want the beverage selections on your machine to be easy to see from a short distance.
Designed for Diet Dr Pepper
Diet Dr Pepper has a distinct identity that deserves a clear presentation. This flavor strip gives operators a dedicated visual display for the Diet Dr Pepper 12 oz can selection.
The strip is identified as a Diet Dr Pepper flavor strip and includes a can-on-ice presentation. This type of graphic is well suited to cold beverage vending because it reinforces the idea of a chilled, ready-to-drink product.
Using the correct flavor strip also helps keep the machine organized. Each beverage selection can have its own clearly identified graphic. This creates a more consistent appearance across the entire machine.
HVV Style for High Visibility Vending
HVV stands for High Visibility Vendor. These vending machines use larger, more noticeable product graphics to help beverage selections stand out.
Vending World identifies the DB95 HVV format at approximately 5.3 inches wide by 7.2 inches high. The site notes that this format can be used on Pepsi HVV front machines, including machines manufactured by Royal and Dixie Narco.
The larger graphic area makes the product name easier to notice. This can be useful in busy vending locations where customers need to make a quick selection.
HVV-style graphics are particularly helpful in locations where vending machines receive frequent customer traffic. Offices, schools, retail locations, transportation areas, entertainment facilities, and other high-use locations can benefit from simple and visible product identification.

Check Your Vending Machine Before Ordering
Choosing the correct flavor strip size is important. Vending machines can use several different graphic formats. A strip that looks similar may not fit the same machine or product display.
Vending World lists several common flavor strip sizes. Small strips include SA43 at approximately 1 5/8 x 3 19/32 inches and SA36 at approximately 1 15/32 x 3 1/2 inches. Medium NBS16 strips measure approximately 2 5/16 x 3 1/2 inches, while large NBS15 strips measure approximately 2 5/16 x 7 1/16 inches.
The Diet Dr Pepper product on this page is specifically identified as an HVV-style strip. Vending World lists the HVV DB95 format at approximately 5.3 x 7.2 inches. Because vending machine displays vary, it is a good idea to measure the existing strip or display area before placing your order.
Great for Beverage Machine Updates
Replacing an outdated flavor strip can be a simple way to refresh the appearance of a vending machine. Graphics can become scratched, faded, dirty, or damaged after years of use. A replacement strip gives the machine a cleaner presentation without requiring a complete machine replacement.
This Diet Dr Pepper strip can be useful when adding Diet Dr Pepper to an existing beverage lineup. It can also help replace an old or damaged Diet Dr Pepper graphic on a compatible HVV machine.
For vending operators, small visual improvements can make routine machine maintenance easier. Keeping product graphics current helps customers identify the beverages available in each selection.
Improve Vending Machine Merchandising
Good vending machine merchandising starts with making products easy to recognize. Customers typically want to select their beverage quickly. Clear product graphics help reduce confusion and make the machine easier to navigate.
The Diet Dr Pepper HVV flavor strip provides a dedicated space for the Diet Dr Pepper selection. Its larger HVV presentation can help the product stand out among the other beverage choices.
Operators can also create a consistent appearance by using matching HVV-style graphics throughout the machine. When product names and images are easy to identify, the beverage display looks more organized and professional.
Useful for High-Traffic Locations
High-traffic vending machines need graphics that can be seen quickly. Customers may approach a machine while walking through an office, store, school, workplace, or other busy location. Large, recognizable product graphics can help them find their preferred beverage without spending extra time searching.
The HVV format is designed around this type of high-visibility presentation. The larger DB95 dimensions give the graphic more space than many traditional small flavor strips.
For operators who maintain multiple beverage machines, keeping replacement strips available can also simplify service calls. Instead of leaving a damaged or missing graphic in place, a replacement can restore the machine's appearance during routine maintenance.
Simple Replacement and Maintenance
A flavor strip is a relatively simple vending machine component. It does not replace the refrigeration system, control board, coin mechanism, bill validator, or product delivery system. Its primary purpose is visual product identification.
Before installing a replacement strip, remove the existing graphic carefully and clean the display area if needed. Make sure the replacement is aligned correctly and fits the intended display area.
Always verify the dimensions and machine format before installation. This is especially important when working with older vending machines or machines that have been modified over time.

Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
