Designed for Small 20 oz Bottle Selections
The size of a flavor strip matters when you are working with a vending machine display. The SA43 strip measures 1 3/4 by 3 19/32 inches. This compact format is intended for beverage selections that use the small bottle strip area.
Using the correct size helps keep your product selections neat. It also helps prevent a label from covering nearby selections or important machine information.
If your machine uses a different strip size, check the machine specifications before purchasing. Vending World also lists other bottle and flavor strip formats, so choosing the correct style is important.
Compatible Vending Machine Applications
The Vending World product information describes the SA43 flavor strip as suitable for both Vendo and Dixie Narco vending machines. The listing notes that the strip can be used with Vendo machines using a tear-side arrangement and Dixie Narco machines using a tear-top arrangement.
Because vending machine models can vary, it is still a good idea to compare your existing strip with the replacement before ordering. Pay attention to the dimensions, mounting position, and available indicator features.
Help Customers Find Mug Root Beer
A vending machine can contain many beverage choices. Without clear product identification, customers may need extra time to find their preferred drink. A dedicated Mug Root Beer flavor strip helps solve this problem.
The recognizable product branding gives customers a quick visual reference. It can be especially helpful in machines that contain several similar bottle sizes.
For vending operators, this creates a simple way to keep selections clearly labeled. It also makes routine product changes easier. When you change the beverage in a selection, you can replace the corresponding strip instead of leaving an outdated label in place.
Useful for Vending Machine Maintenance
Flavor strips are small parts, but they play an important role in the overall appearance of a vending machine. A missing or damaged strip can make a machine look incomplete.
Keeping replacement strips available can make routine maintenance easier. If a strip becomes scratched, damaged, or lost, you can replace it during a normal service visit.
This is useful for operators who manage multiple machines. A few replacement strips can help you keep machines looking consistent across different locations.
Original-Style Beverage Identification
The Vending World listing describes these flavor strips as original products supplied by national bottling companies. The goal is to provide recognizable beverage branding rather than a generic replacement design.
Authentic-looking product graphics can make a difference in a vending display. Customers are already familiar with beverage brands. Clear branding helps them connect the machine selection with the product they expect to receive.
The Mug Root Beer design is therefore a practical choice for operators who stock Mug Root Beer in their 20 oz bottle selections.
Sold-Out Indicator Features
The Vending World product information explains that SA43 flavor strips include small punch-out holes that can work with sold-out indicator lights. This feature can help the strip work with the vending machine's product-status display.
A sold-out indicator gives customers a clear signal when a selection is unavailable. It can also help vending operators keep the machine display more informative.
Before installation, check your specific vending machine to confirm how its sold-out indicator system is arranged. Machine configurations can vary by model and setup.
Simple Replacement for Existing Flavor Strips
Replacing a worn flavor strip is a straightforward way to improve the appearance of a vending machine. The compact design makes it easy to keep replacement strips with your other vending machine parts.
When servicing a machine, inspect the beverage labels along with the coils, bottle shims, pricing labels, and other visible components. If the Mug Root Beer selection needs a new label, this flavor strip provides a dedicated replacement for the 20 oz bottle selection.
A fresh strip can help restore a clean and organized presentation without replacing a larger machine component.

Why Keep Replacement Flavor Strips on Hand?
Vending machines operate in busy locations. Labels can become worn over time. They can also be damaged during cleaning, restocking, or general machine service.
Having replacement flavor strips available can reduce the time needed to restore a machine's display. Instead of leaving a selection unlabeled, an operator can replace the strip as part of a regular service visit.
This can be especially useful for operators with several beverage machines. Standardizing replacement parts makes routine maintenance easier to manage.
Installation and Ordering Tips
Before ordering, compare the dimensions of your existing strip with the listed SA43 dimensions. The Mug Root Beer strip is listed at 1 3/4 by 3 19/32 inches.
Also check how your machine holds the flavor strip. Vendo and Dixie Narco machines may use different strip orientations. The product listing specifically describes different tear arrangements for these machine types.
If you are replacing several beverage selections, check each product label before placing your order. This helps ensure that the replacement strips match the products and bottle sizes being sold in your machine.
A Practical Upgrade for Your Beverage Display
The Mug Root Beer Small Size 20 oz Bottle Flavor Strip is a simple vending machine part that can make a noticeable difference in product presentation. It helps identify Mug Root Beer, supports an organized beverage display, and provides a dedicated label for the small 20 oz bottle selection.
With its listed 1 3/4 by 3 19/32 inch size, bottle-on-ice design, and SA43 part number, it is a practical replacement option for compatible vending machine setups. Why Buy A Refurbished Machine?
Great Returns - Commercial Grade Machines - Affordability
New vs Refurbished
We used to sell new machines as well as reconditioned ones. We no longer sell new, for one main reason.
According to a recent survey of vending operators, about 93 out of 100 potential vending accounts don't generate enough revenue to justify the cost of new equipment. New machines are great if you have high volume accounts, but most people do not have these accounts.
Typical pricing on new "commercial grade" machines:
- Can drink machines: $6,200–$7,400
- Snack machines: $6,600–$8,500
- Cold food machines: $8,900–$11,700
(Priced with mech and validator, typical options, vendor pricing not including sales tax or shipping in some cases.)
As you can see, that's quite high compared to used or refurbished equipment.
Please remember 'anyone and everyone' can call their machines refurbished but what does that really mean? Please see our machine ratings page for what we actually do to our machines. Many of our competitors don't even 'clean or paint the inside' of the machines.
Start small and grow as you can afford it.Many people start in the vending business without much knowledge, and that can hurt them financially if they're not careful.
All of the machines that we sell are full size, commercial machines. There are many machines that are made that are small, countertop or mechanical coin acceptance. These machines are fine if you are a housewife looking to make a little extra money on the side. We used to sell those type of machines and no longer do. The main reason is that people who were serious about vending would out grow these type of machines in several months.
Small mechanical machines have two main problems:
- They don't make change or accept dollar bills
- They "work you to death" — frequent refills for very little payoff
Most hold under 100 products and gross only $40–$50 per full restock, and profit is less than half of that.
A full-size commercial machine, by contrast, usually holds 350 to 600 products and empties out at $250–$500. Since you spend most of your time just driving to the location, you might as well fill 500 products instead of 50.
